The students of Xingzhi Middle School have been influenced and educated by the revolution for a long time, and their political consciousness is very high. They are pressing for progress and actively demanding to join the party. However, because most students have not reached the age of joining the Party (party constitution stipulates that they can only join the Party at the age of 18), their demands for political progress cannot be met for the time being, and some students often feel distressed about it.

1946 In September, the Central Youth Committee and the Youth Federation of the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region decided that Yan 'an Xingzhi Middle School was a pilot unit for league building. At that time, on the eve of Chiang Kai-shek's massive attack on the border region, Yan 'an was already shrouded in the atmosphere of war, and various organs and schools had begun to carry out war preparedness education. It is in this situation that the pilot group construction began. This process can be divided into the following four stages.

The first stage: issue documents, unify thoughts, and do a good job in organizing and preparing for the alliance.

Comrade Huang Ruogang, who was led by the Central Youth League Committee, came to Xingzhi Middle School in September to convey the spirit of the Central Youth League Committee to the General Party Branch and Vice President Lu, and put forward the preliminary requirements and ideas for organizing a youth league in Yan 'an Xingzhi Middle School. 10 12 days later, the Central Youth League Committee transferred Huang Ruogang to Zu Feng Match Factory in Yan 'an, and Comrade He of the Youth League Committee went to Xingzhi Middle School to guide the pilot league construction.

Later, in the discussion, everyone suggested that some general political studies and activities in response to the school's call can be carried out first, and political mass organizations can be established on this basis.

The second stage: the establishment of youth progressive organizations.

First, organize young activists to study politics and conduct wartime education. In order to carry out the work more solidly, the school organized party member to hold a meeting to study the situation of activists in each class, and decided to take the class as a unit, start with political and ideological education activities, organize the work, focus on the individual brewing of activists, supplemented by party member's inspiration and guidance, and gradually establish the organization of the league.

After the meeting, Party branch secretaries and party member of each class who participated in the league building work talked with activists respectively. Some talk about study, some talk about life, some talk about ideas, and some talk about work, politics and organization. After the activists were inspired, they contacted other students who asked for progress, and several people got together to discuss the brewing. In this way, students' progress organizations such as "party constitution Study Group", "Political Study Group" and "Newsletter Group" soon appeared in each class. These regiments are actually the rudiments of regiments. Students who participate in these organizations have improved their consciousness by studying party constitution, helped each other in their work and life, and promoted the work of the whole class.

The third stage: each class establishes a league branch.

Inspired and guided by party member, the youth progressive organizations are linked with the old youth league in their study, and think that there should be a youth league as the core, which is more conducive to the growth and progress of young people. As a result, these progressive organizations gradually transitioned to the Youth League. For example, in the 13th class in the middle of 10, four party member talked with activists respectively, encouraging students to care about each other politically in the situation of peaceful transition to war. Three days later, on 1 1 5th, everyone agreed to organize a youth league, and many names were agreed, such as "Democratic Youth League", "Marxist-Leninist Youth League", "Youth * * * Production Youth League", "Youth * * * Production Preparatory Group", "Youth Advanced Youth League" and "Youth *" Finally, according to the opinions of most people, it was decided to name it "Mao Zedong Shaoqi Group". At this meeting, the articles of association and the conditions for joining the League were also discussed. Two days later, each class set up a youth league group or a youth league branch.

When the league was first established, some activists had three fears: first, they were afraid that they would not be able to join the party soon after joining the league; Second, I am afraid that the alliance will not be consolidated and collapse; Third, they are afraid that the alliance will be satirized by some people after it is made public. So many people hold a wait-and-see attitude towards the Youth League. Correcting these views depends on ideological work, especially on the exemplary actions of league members. On the one hand, the establishment of the Youth League Working Group strengthens the publicity and education work, on the other hand, it pays attention to giving play to the vanguard and exemplary role of the League members. In the future, the exemplary role of the members won the honor for the group and the trust of the masses in clearing the field, marching and transferring, and military training. At the same time, through continuous learning, let young people realize that the Communist Youth League is a school to train and educate young people, and it is the party's assistant and reserve army. They understand that in the past, the Youth League was reformed to meet the needs of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, and now the Youth League is rebuilt to achieve the final victory of the new-democratic revolution. At first, Li wanted to join the party directly, but he didn't want to join the league. With the help of Commissioner Bao Keming, he quickly joined the Communist Youth League. After a period of exercise, she became a glorious party member on 1948.

The fourth stage: the establishment of the League General Branch Committee.
