The school attaches great importance to publicizing students' personality on the basis of all-round development, and has given full attention to it, and has formed certain advantages in mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer and other scientific disciplines, especially in mathematics city-level and above competitions. In the early days of its establishment, it set a record for junior two students to participate in the Yu Zhen Cup (now the New Knowledge Cup) and the second place in the Shanghai Junior Three Mathematics Competition. Since then, he has frequently won gold and silver medals in the National Huajin Cup and the Shanghai Junior Three Mathematics Competition every year, and has frequently won a large-scale harvest. Since 2008, five gold medal winners of the International Mathematical Olympiad have been studying in this school, and many students who participated in the winter camp on behalf of Shanghai also came from this school. Three students and junior high school students won the first prize in the National Senior High School Mathematics League, and two of them also won the prize in the China Mathematical Olympiad.
