Reflections on Individualized Mathematics Teaching in Junior Middle School (Part One)
I am a math teacher in Grade Three (3) and Grade Three (4). In my work, I can be conscientious and do a good job in teaching, and have achieved certain results. The reason is that there are mistakes in methods, too much talking and too little doing, students' basic situation is inaccurate, and students' learning efficiency is low, so their grades are poor. Now let me reflect.
First, the good aspects of teaching:
1, you can set correct teaching objectives:
In the usual teaching, we not only pay more attention to the learning foundation and level of most students according to the requirements of the syllabus, but also set teaching objectives. According to the actual situation of the class, I set the usual teaching goal at the middle and lower level, appropriately improve the key content, and let high-quality students achieve better results. For students with poor foundation, the review goal only needs to meet the most basic requirements of the outline, emphasizing the memory of important concepts, theorems, formulas and other basic knowledge, and being able to master the basic solutions of basic problems. Through hard work, the math scores of the whole class have improved.
2, review in the usual teaching process:
In order to complete the review task and reduce the burden of students' concentrated review time, I dispersed the review content in my usual study in a planned way. From the beginning of the third grade, the teaching has been reviewed and summarized purposefully. This paper reviews the important mathematics knowledge related to the knowledge of grade one or two and grade three, and reviews it according to the situation in combination with the teaching materials. Usually review the knowledge points of Grade One and Grade Two in class through review, questioning, quizzes and purposeful inspection. Doing so can make the important knowledge learned in senior one and senior two appear repeatedly in students' minds, which can reduce the forgetting rate.
3. Write practical training questions for students:
Now every junior high school student has learning materials, new evaluations and so on. These materials have less basic knowledge and the topics are more difficult. The method of solving problems focuses on skills rather than basic ideas and methods. Generally speaking, the requirements are too high and too deep, which is divorced from the reality of our students and does not meet the learning requirements of our school. So I usually pay attention to preparing students' exercises and reviewing training questions when preparing lessons. Homework must be corrected when it is arranged, which improves the quality of students' homework. The requirements of self-made exercises are lower than average, most of them are basic training, and the key questions are repeatedly trained, which gradually improves and achieves the expected teaching effect.
4. Pay attention to the timely feedback and correction of classroom teaching information;
Because students' thinking and basic knowledge are very different, it is very difficult for classroom teaching. Therefore, classroom teaching must proceed from the actual level of students, and conduct review guidance in a hierarchical and targeted manner, so that students at different levels can finally reach different levels through review and study. Therefore, in classroom teaching, I pay attention to understanding students' thinking process, further asking students the questions they answer, and further asking why students do multiple-choice questions and fill-in-the-blank questions. In classroom teaching, students' exercises should be positively evaluated in time, so as to improve their internal drive and correct problems in time, which not only deepens their understanding of knowledge, but also enables students to correct mistakes in time and meet the basic requirements of review.
Second, the teaching misunderstanding:
I misjudged the students' learning situation, optimistic that the students' learning process and homework process were normal, and as a result, I took a detour. In the process of mathematics teaching in grade three, in order to catch up with the teaching progress, there is still a phenomenon of talking more and practicing less in classroom teaching.
The relationship between education management and mathematics teaching is not well grasped in grade three. Usually, I spend less time on mathematics teaching in grade three, especially the counseling work for underachievers has not been really implemented. Sometimes there are many reasons for the problems, and there is less specific counseling work. Some poor students are not enthusiastic about learning, don't listen carefully in class, don't finish their homework seriously, and copy their homework from time to time, so their poor exam results are revealed. Chapter exams and mock exams pay attention to the analysis of students' achievements, but lack statistics and analysis of students' knowledge gap, less targeted comments, and lack of targeted follow-up training and inspection.
Third, the future teaching ideas:
Further stimulate students' learning motivation, cultivate students' good study habits, harmonize the feelings of teachers and students, provide equal learning opportunities, and sincerely provide students with quality services. To understand the specific situation of students, teachers should find out what the learning level is and treat the specific situation in a specific way. Different problems should be solved in different ways, and students should not be left behind in the course. Solve the problem of students' classroom discipline.
Improve students' complete knowledge structure. On the one hand, we should strengthen the teaching of basic knowledge and pay attention to blind spots; On the other hand, we should pay attention to the summary of problem-solving mode and the breakthrough of difficulties, which is the key to mathematics learning, and do a good job of improving quality and making up differences. Pay special attention to underachievers, pay attention to their learning methods, give guidance and correction to their learning gaps, make statistics and analysis on the knowledge gaps of students with unsatisfactory results in monthly exams and mock exams, put forward targeted opinions, and conduct targeted follow-up training and inspection.
Classroom is an important part of learning. Classroom students' learning situation and learning efficiency directly affect students' test scores. Therefore, we should pay attention to classroom management, improve learning efficiency, fully mobilize students' enthusiasm, require 45 minutes of quality, reduce students' burden, select exercises, let students understand, study, study easily, get good grades, and be admitted to high school.
Continue to implement the work decision of the school leaders, attach importance to the theoretical study of teaching and education, improve the teaching quality, and strive for good results in the senior high school entrance examination. Give full play to the advantages of teaching work, correct the shortcomings of past work, learn with an open mind and constantly improve.
Reflections on Individualized Mathematics Teaching in Junior Middle School (Part Two)
This semester, due to work needs, I took over the math of Grade One, which is a challenge for me. A month has passed, during which I have been discouraged, but I have more courage to move forward. In order to do better in the future, I want to make a summary of my previous work.
First, do better.
1, unlimited textbooks, flexible use of textbooks, and appropriate reorganization of textbooks according to the actual situation of students. 2. Believe in students, because freshmen have unlimited creative potential. As long as students are given enough time and space to think, their creative potential is infinite. 3. Make full use of students' life experience for teaching.
Second, lack and confusion.
1. Although I have participated in training and read more books on curriculum reform, I know how to do it in theory, but it often changes in practice. Although open-minded, and bold to try new teaching methods, but the classroom organization is a bit weak, the order is not very good, students say one thing and do another, even the best teaching design can not be implemented. 2, many classes need to prepare a lot of materials, but you can't prepare one by one in class. 3. The application of modern educational technology in teaching is not enough. Although the facilities in all aspects of the school are good, they cannot be fully utilized. 4. It is a headache for teachers that first-year students have different starting points (this is more serious in our school, and migrant workers have more children). In teaching, it often happens that good students "don't have enough to eat" and poor students "can't hold on". How to teach children at different levels in accordance with their aptitude?
Third, some ideas.
1, its own educational concept needs to be constantly updated, and its teaching level needs to be further improved. For example, some students stand up and want to answer questions that students don't understand, but we just won't let them, so we have to pick one student to speak. Another example is that the formula listed by students is correct, but it is not affirmed because it is unconventional. All these show that their teaching ideas can't keep up with the development needs of students and need further research and improvement.
2. It is necessary to increase publicity and change other people's ideas, but parents may not understand the teacher's practice. Some parents think that children's quality is so poor now that they are not as skilled in calculation as before. These are all responses to the requirements of curriculum reform.
Reflections on individualized teaching of mathematics in junior middle schools (III)
In the final review, under the guidance of the district teaching and research section and school leaders, the review of the application of quadratic function was completed through "initial preparation-communication-resumption-re-communication" I benefited a lot from this activity.
1. Collective wisdom is better than individual wisdom. In the process of preparing lessons, everyone showed their magical powers and offered suggestions.
Second, it is better to prepare students than textbooks. Students are the main body of learning, and teachers are the leaders of learning. Teachers should teach students in accordance with their aptitude in order to achieve better classroom results.
Third, turn the difficult into the easy and simplify the complicated. Teachers should play the role of grasping the key points and decomposing the difficult points in class. Therefore, when preparing lessons, set questions into question strings to build steps for students to solve problems.
Fourth, be diligent in thinking and be good at summing up. In a large number of exercises, students are guided to sort out knowledge, summarize problems, refine methods and summarize laws in many ways. In order to improve students' ability to analyze and solve problems.
