What are the requirements and conditions for entering a military school?

1, is the age up to standard?

The first condition for entering a military school is to meet the age standard. Taking the enrollment of National University of Defense Technology as an example, candidates are generally required to be over 17 years old and under 20 years old. Candidates over this age can apply for other institutions, but they are not qualified to apply for military schools. Under normal circumstances, the deadline for this age group is limited to August 3 1 day of the year of application. Most college entrance examination candidates meet this condition. But previous graduates may not meet the requirements.

2. Unmarried youth

Those who apply for colleges and universities and those who are married can also apply. However, if you want to apply for military schools, under normal circumstances, candidates must be unmarried young people. Of course, for most senior three students, this standard can basically meet the standard. ?

3. Is the political examination qualified?

To enter a military school, you have to go through the political examination procedure, and the political examination in a military school is very strict. On the one hand, the political review emphasizes the investigation of candidates' main family relationships. If your parents have been detained in criminal cases, under normal circumstances, it is difficult for candidates to pass the political examination in military schools. On the other hand, the political examination should also examine the candidates' personal ideological and political performance. If one's political stance is not firm, one cannot pass the political examination.

4. Physical and mental health?

When entering a military school, there are corresponding requirements for the physical and mental conditions of candidates, with the emphasis on physical conditions. Taking National University of Defense Technology as an example, the physical requirements for candidates mainly focus on height, vision and weight. Boys whose height is less than1.62m and girls whose height is less than1.6m cannot apply for the National Defense Science and Technology University.

Boys are 30% overweight, girls are 20% overweight, or both boys and girls are below 15% of the standard weight, so they are not eligible to enter military schools. In addition, the physical examination also requires the candidate's personal vision. In general, engineering majors require naked eye vision of 4.5 or more, and military command majors require higher vision, usually requiring binocular naked eye vision of 4.9 or more.
