There are 49 exhibits in this museum, which are divided into five areas: Science Discovery Square, Galileo Lab, Faraday Lab, Newton Lab and exploring the genetic mystery of life. In the laboratory exhibition area named after world-famous scientists, the audience can go back in time to the era when scientific pioneers made outstanding creations and experience the ideas and methods of scientists' experiments and discoveries.
There are ten classic experiments in the world in Science Discovery Square, which shows the historical context of great scientific discoveries and makes the audience realize that with exquisite experimental ideas, the most basic scientific concepts and laws can be explored and discovered with the simplest experimental equipment.
"Galileo Lab" introduced Galileo's "experiment-mathematics" method based on observation and experiment, which was the first scientific method to study the laws of nature.
"Faraday Lab" takes the discovery process of the law of electromagnetic induction as a clue, shows Faraday's process of exploring the law of electromagnetic induction with the image of "magnetic field lines", and introduces Maxwell's thought method of unifying electromagnetic phenomena under the concept of presence. Imagination is more important than knowledge itself.
"Newton Lab" takes the discovery of the law of universal gravitation as a clue, and introduces Newton's "standing on the shoulders of giants". Through "imagination, hypothesis, experiment, analogy, deduction and induction", it unifies the laws of motion of celestial bodies and the earth, establishes a classical mechanical system, and shows the great role of scientific ideas and methods in human exploration of the unknown world.
