Why do we use cross product to find normal vector in higher mathematics?
In the definition of cross product,

c=a×b

Then c is perpendicular to the plane where a and b lie (that is, the normal vector of c is parallel to the plane)

So we often use the cross product to find the vector perpendicular to two vectors at the same time (mainly the normal vector and direction vector of a straight line).
