As far as teachers are concerned, I think Guangzhou University is better. Among the majors upgraded to Grade One this year, there are several majors in the School of Mathematics, all of which have doctoral degrees. Although financial mathematics has not been upgraded, it is still a major in the School of Mathematics. The teacher is still here, and many teachers are teaching several majors in the college. Moreover, the general requirement is that both the dean and the lecturer should give lectures to undergraduates, so you can listen to some excellent professors' courses in the School of Mathematics. In contrast, the major of Guangshang Mathematics doesn't even have a master's degree, which obviously reflects the gap between the two schools in this subject.
