1 I chose the postgraduate entrance examination and continued my study career.
I was born in 1996, and studied in a university in Qingdao, 985 (Laoshan Campus), with the direction of marine technology hydroacoustics 14. My life in the first two years of college is still calm, and my grades are above average in this major, but there is still a certain distance from my exam-free grades. In the next semester of junior year, when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom on campus, the choice of life path after college is directly in front of us.
In fact, choosing graduate school is almost a default thing in my heart, and I never thought about going to work after graduation. On the one hand, it is because the inner maturity is too slow, and the inner positioning is still students and children at home. If I want to be an independent adult in society, my psychological preparation and action preparation are far from enough. On the other hand, it is my yearning for scientific research. After studying college courses, I deeply realized my shallowness. I think I need a postgraduate stage to improve my professional quality and ability to study and research, and also give myself more possibilities in the future.
Taking Institute of Acoustics, Chinese Academy of Sciences as the direction of efforts
Choosing the Institute of Acoustics is almost my default. Why? Because I think it is the best place for my major, I must try my best to go to the best place. I heard of Chinese Academy of Sciences when I was a child. Later, I learned that the Chinese Academy of Sciences is the highest hall of scientific research in China, and my heart was full of yearning. In the field of acoustics in China, there are mainly the following units to recruit graduate students. In the initial selection stage, I also checked the relevant information and consulted teachers and seniors. The system of Chinese Academy of Sciences is the Institute of Acoustics, and the authoritative unit of acoustics in China is also the top level in China except underwater sound, audio, ultrasound and pronunciation direction. Every year, a large number of students in my major go to the Institute of Acoustics, no matter whether they are exempted from exams or unified exams. Therefore, conformity is also a reason for choosing the Institute of Acoustics as the direction of efforts. In colleges and universities, the Department of Acoustics of Nanjing University is also the top level in China, but its research direction is biased towards electroacoustic. My college classmates and seniors have gone to Nantah for graduate studies, but the number is very small; Harbin Engineering University Underwater Acoustic College, Harbin Engineering University is a strong military school with strong underwater acoustic strength, but it doesn't like the northeast climate, so it passes the customs; ; Northwestern Polytechnical University also has a place in the field of underwater acoustics, but I don't know much about this school. Before, my seniors and sisters in the same major didn't go there for further study, so they also died. Institute of acoustics, tongji university. Every year, 5+ students in my major choose there, but Tongji doesn't have the underwater sound direction I want to go to, so I just passed. Then there is my alma mater, but I think I stayed in Qingdao for four years and wanted to change the environment, mentality and rhythm, so I fixed all my memories of my alma mater in the four years of college. In addition, Shaanxi Normal University and South China University of Technology also have teachers who do acoustics, but they don't know much about it. In addition to the systems of Chinese Academy of Sciences and universities, CSIC's 7 15 (Hangzhou Institute of Applied Acoustics) and Dalian's 760 also recruit graduate students majoring in underwater acoustics, but they don't know much about it. In fact, I didn't do too much entanglement in the choice of the direction of postgraduate entrance examination. Most students in the same direction choose to go to the Institute of Acoustics. Students in the same direction choose to take the postgraduate entrance examination in four parts, one is our school, the other is Tongji University, the other is the Institute of Acoustics, and the other is Donghai Station of Acoustics (Shanghai Donghai Station is self-enrolled). Fortunately, through hard work, the vast majority of students who took the postgraduate entrance examination have landed.
There is another episode. Every July, during the summer vacation after junior year, the Institute of Acoustics organizes summer camp activities, which is undoubtedly an excellent way to understand the Institute of Acoustics. I also signed up at that time and got the qualification to enter the camp. The Institute of Acoustics has kindly reimbursed the travelling expenses and arranged accommodation and meals during the summer camp. During the summer camp, the institute not only visited various laboratories, but also arranged lectures for various laboratories. The teachers are patient and explain the situation of each laboratory in detail, so that everyone can know what to do when choosing a laboratory and their future direction. On the night of entering the camp, the lectures were arranged by brothers and sisters in various laboratories, which was more grounded and could help us solve the specific doubts at that time. There are several brothers and sisters who came from the same major in my university. It is very kind to meet them. Through them, I also learned more about their study and life in the Institute of Acoustics. At that time, I envied them, envied the good study and living environment provided by the Institute of Acoustics, envied their positive and enterprising mental state of studying hard on a higher platform, which strengthened my determination to come to the Institute of Acoustics, and hoped that I could grow up to be as excellent as them in the future.
3 intense and substantial road to preparing for the exam
But in April, when I made up my mind to prepare for the postgraduate entrance examination, I unfortunately fell ill and went home to recuperate for more than a month, so that the whole junior year was in a struggling rehabilitation stage next semester. The end of the summer camp is already in August, and it is close to the beginning of the third year of high school. There are only more than four months left for review. I have prepared the direction of acoustics in the Institute of Acoustics. The subjects of the exam are number two, English one, politics and acoustics. These subjects are closely related to my college study, so I still have some confidence.
When I started reviewing, many students had been preparing for the exam for a long time. I left a lot of progress at first, but I was still very flustered. However, I am glad that a classmate told me this sentence. He said, "As long as you make a choice, you must go all out and leave no luck." Another classmate told me: "When you feel difficult, it is time for you to make progress". Thanks to these two sentences, I have always inspired myself and thanked myself for practicing the meaning of these two sentences with practice.
As for the selection of review materials, I always follow the crowd, because I believe that most people's choices are not wrong (in other words, I am not the only one who wants to cheat/(ㄒㄒㄒㄒ)/~).
The first stage, from August to the end of 10, is the first round of review. This stage is mainly to go through all the basic knowledge and lay a good foundation.
In mathematics, I mainly finished "Zhang Yu's Thirty-six Lectures". I followed the video lesson step by step in the early stage. Every lecture given by Zhang Yu 36 contains exercises, and the whole process of follow-up is fruitful. The knowledge of high numbers and line generation is learned by freshmen. Although it has been used, the knowledge framework of the system has been almost forgotten. When you start learning, just like learning new knowledge, you will soon forget it. So I arranged two learning lines, one to learn new knowledge and the other to consolidate problems. The latter line is a few chapters behind the previous one, which means learning new knowledge at the same time. I also learned a hard-core learning method from other research friends. That is, after learning a chapter, close the book, take out a blank sheet of paper, start to recall the main points of this chapter, sort out the contents of this chapter by yourself, and write it on paper. The process of racking one's brains to recall is painful, but efficient.
In English, I focus on vocabulary and reading. In terms of vocabulary, I did not choose to fall in love with words, but found a book I bought before. It's an English vocabulary book published by Jiangnan Ci Factory, the official account of WeChat, and it's called "Analysis of English Vocabulary for Postgraduate Entrance Examination-Tracing Words". In reading, I bought some English books. When I first started reading, the error rate was really terrible. Generally, an article will make 3/4 mistakes, which is very painful every time. I didn't even have the courage to answer after I finished writing. In order to combine vocabulary with reading, I usually mark words I don't know in my vocabulary book, sit on the mark and fold the pages. In the next few days, I will hold a thick vocabulary book and recite those marked words. I also tried to recite the words chapter by chapter, but after memorizing more than ten chapters, I thought this method was too rigid and gave up. In this way, I read and remember words and survived the first round of English.
In contrast, the first round of politics is not so brain-intensive. I followed a series of political information of Xiao Xiurong. At first, I followed the knowledge points, 1000 questions, chapter by chapter. When learning a new chapter by referring to the English method, I usually read the whole article first, and then go straight to the multiple-choice questions at the back (the topic will certainly not be done). Then I went to the front to find the relevant content of each multiple-choice question, and then marked it, skipping the process of combing the knowledge points directly, but combing the knowledge points through the topic. After all, there is nothing I can do to catch up with the schedule, but it is really a very efficient way.
Acoustics is my specialized course, and the scope of the examination is in that book, because there are two kinds of examination questions in the postgraduate entrance examination, one is the noun explanation of 50 points, and the other is the five major questions of 100 points. When reviewing, I put out the key concepts of each chapter and the derivation of the core issues of each chapter. On the contrary, there are not many obstacles in reviewing specialized courses. Here, I would also like to thank the teachers and classmates of the same major. When there are questions, they help me answer questions and clarify many vague understandings. In addition, the college acoustics foundation is relatively solid, so the review process is relatively smooth.
It's 1 1 month in a blink of an eye (I didn't finish a round until 1 1 month, which shows how slow my progress is). The first round of review is still step by step, and it is calm. At that time, I often went to Zhihu to see other people's mental processes and learning methods, learn from them, make a comparison with my own learning ideas, and make corresponding adjustments. I remember reading a question that impressed me deeply, "What should I do if my postgraduate mentality collapses?" Looking at other people's stories, I still feel that my preparation process is step by step, slow and steady, and plain. Who knows, the time to really test the mentality has not yet arrived.
In the second round of review, the main rhythm became doing the questions, and at this stage I began to get in touch with the real questions (my progress was really late, and some students started doing the real questions in the summer vacation).
In mathematics, I bought the test questions for nearly 30 years and the test questions bought 00 years ago, which were really too simple, and later I regretted wasting my time on them. But it's true that I feel good about doing those questions. After 00 years, the difficulty of the topic is gradually coming up, but the difficulty of the real topic is not high, which also shows that it is most important to get high marks in the math test and lay a good foundation. English is not so cute. Reading has laid a good foundation, but it is not solid, and it is very difficult to do real questions. There are still many mistakes in reading questions. For several weeks, I spent a lot of energy on English. In addition to constantly looking through my vocabulary book, I also made small cards and wrote down words that I easily forget. When I am most fascinated by studying, I will also take a card with me when I wash clothes, and take out the card to have a look. Meanwhile, English translation and English writing have also picked up. I bought Wang Jiangtao's composition book for writing. I practiced some articles in a targeted way, summed up my own writing methods, and specially sorted out the article templates that fit my writing habits (templates are actually a set of writing sentence patterns that I often use). In this way, the English level has been improved. Politics has always followed Xiao Xiurong's series, relying on the historical and political foundation laid by his middle school, and the accuracy of political multiple-choice questions is still relatively high. Part of the big topic, just wait for Hachi Xiao Si to come out and concentrate on reciting. I really want to thank the lovely research friends of the same major for reviewing the basics of acoustics. Every night after 9: 30, we will gather in the teachers' lounge of the teaching building to exchange the problems encountered in the review of professional courses. Discuss what concepts need to be remembered, discuss the derivation steps of big questions, exchange review notes with each other, and the previous seniors and sisters also left us their own review notes and previous exam questions, which gave me great help. I feel that although one's postgraduate entrance examination is a difficult journey, I am not alone. I have many lovely friends with me. We are nominally opponents, but actually teammates, encouraging each other and moving forward.
But the communication with my classmates also made me feel great pressure. After all, their progress is faster, and when communicating, I found many shortcomings of myself. Accordingly, I feel that others' review effect far exceeds my own. After 1 1 months, my anxiety is eating away at my heart more and more. I feel that time is running out, I am very tired every day and my body is here. At this time, I realized that the real test of postgraduate entrance examination had arrived. I think I have reached the limit of my physical strength. After a while, I felt the limit of my brain power, because my level of doing real problems was stagnant, while other students had begun to do full simulation problems. Especially when I start reciting big political questions, I always spend more time writing them down than others. That kind of frustration and deep doubt about yourself is really maddening. For a few days, I avoided other students, fearing to communicate with them about review, which hurt my self-confidence.
The first round of review was calm, and the second round of review felt a sharp increase in pressure. At the final sprint stage, learning ideas are no longer important, and mentality has become the core thing. Two weeks before the postgraduate entrance examination, I did a set of math problems. When I gave myself 90+ points, my brain exploded completely. I remember wandering on the Haitang Road in school for a long time that night. Looking back on my review process, I felt that I had made countless mistakes. Compared with others, I was too far behind, and what to do if I failed in the postgraduate entrance examination. Countless pessimistic thoughts have blown up normal thinking. At that moment, I felt frustrated and deeply realized the feeling of collapse when I took the postgraduate entrance examination. The depressed mood lasted for a few days, and the learning efficiency in those days was terrible, but at least I didn't give up completely. I keep giving myself psychological hints and telling myself that I can. As long as I work hard, the result will naturally be like this. I finally got through the most difficult time, so that I often went for a walk on Haitang Road before graduation, recalling my mental breakdown at that time, and sincerely thanking myself for persisting at that time.
Two days of postgraduate entrance examination is like a big dream.
It will soon reach the inspection stage. On the first day, politics in the morning and English in the afternoon were very stable. After all, there was nothing wrong with the two exams, and the next morning I took math, which was miserable. The math difficulty of 18 is terrible, which is completely different from that of 17. I managed to keep my head and try my best to write. I know I did badly in the exam, but fortunately, the students who came together encouraged each other. After all, the exam is not over yet. In the afternoon, the acoustic foundation was not smooth, and a noun explanation was planted. There are several concepts that I haven't reviewed at all. Fortunately, the big questions behind basically wrote my own ideas. Two days after the first test, it was over. On the way back, I felt like I had a dream, and the initial stage of postgraduate entrance examination was over.
The days of waiting for the results are still very pleasant. After all, no matter how worried you are, it won't affect the final score. Knowing that my grades were before the New Year, I still have a great advantage compared with my classmates' scores in the postgraduate entrance examination. After all, this year's math problem is very difficult, and it is difficult to get high marks. So I still have confidence in my psychology.
Then write about the experience of re-examination in the Institute of Acoustics and the feeling of studying in the Institute of Acoustics.
