1, Sanming No.1 Middle School, Fujian Province

Sanming No.1 Middle School, founded in 1945, is the alma mater of Chen Jingrun, a former academician of China Academy of Sciences and a famous mathematician. It is the first batch of key middle schools and provincial-level schools. From the autumn of 1997, it was changed to a senior middle school. The school covers an area of 55,735 square meters with a building area of 27,000 square meters. Sanming No.9 Middle School (Sanming Tianjiabing Experimental Middle School) was founded in 1959, formerly known as Sanming Chemical General Factory Middle School. 1June 1998 was spun off from the enterprise and became a senior middle school directly under Sanming Education Bureau. In May, 2006, it was recognized as a provincial-level standard middle school by the Provincial Department of Education (the first enterprise split school in our province). In 2006, 1 1F was generously donated by Tian Jiabing, a famous Hong Kong industrialist, and was named "Sanming Tianjiabing Experimental Middle School" with the approval of the Municipal Education Bureau.
