How to write vertical division in senior two?
The vertical writing of division in grade two is as follows:

Write the dividend first, then write a horizontal line above the dividend, then write an apostrophe at the left end of the horizontal line, and finally write the divisor at the left end of the apostrophe! The remainder to be divided must be less than the divisor, and the bit dividend is placed in the right bit of the remainder.

Taking 72 divided by 6 as an example, the vertical form is as follows:

On the operational nature of division

1, the dividend is enlarged (reduced) by n times, and the quotient is correspondingly enlarged (reduced) by n times under the condition that the divisor is unchanged.

2. The divisor is expanded (reduced) by n times, while the dividend is unchanged, and the quotient is correspondingly reduced (expanded) by n times.

3. Nature of division: dividing the dividend by two divisors is equal to dividing by the product of these two divisors. Sometimes simple operations can be performed according to the nature of the division.

For example: 300 ÷ 25 ÷ 4 = 300 ÷ (25× 4) = 300 ÷100 = 3.
