Yesterday afternoon, nearly 680,000 middle school students in our province completed the English subject examination and finished the senior high school entrance examination. "Marking papers" is about to begin. Hebei Education Examinations Institute issued regulations on marking and registration, emphasizing that all cities should adhere to the principles of strictness, fairness and accuracy, and do a good job in marking and registration.

■ Math English test questions are not difficult.

There were no questions or digressions in yesterday's math and English exams, which was not difficult for most candidates.

"The overall difficulty of the English test paper is moderate, and there are no digressions and strange questions, but the listening part is slightly faster." Zhili Huang, a teacher from Shijiazhuang Foreign Language School, said that the reading speed is not surprising because both teachers and students know that listening will be increased before the exam.

Teacher Yang, on the other hand, thinks that mathematics continues the style of attaching importance to foundation and examining ability. Compared with last year, the scores of multiple-choice questions, fill-in-the-blank questions and solution questions all increased slightly, while the knowledge about circles in space and graphics rose from 5 points last year to nearly 20 points.

■ The province implements a unified scoring standard.

Starting today, the senior high school entrance examination will enter the marking stage. It is understood that this work will last about 10 days. Shijiazhuang Examinations Institute is expected to announce the results and filing scores around July 4th.

In 2009, under the unified leadership of the provincial and municipal admissions committees, the marking and enrollment of senior high school entrance examinations in Hebei Province were specifically arranged by the municipal education examination institutes (admissions offices). Marking must strictly implement the scoring standards formulated by the province, and shall not be raised or lowered, and shall not be changed without authorization, and on this basis, the scoring rules of various disciplines shall be formulated through trial evaluation and discussion. In the process of grading, the differences of grading standards are decided by the leading group.

■ Graders are not allowed to check candidates' scores.

Cities and counties to send a strong sense of responsibility, high professional level, no immediate family members to participate in the senior high school entrance examination personnel to participate in marking and registration. The marking staff must be local in-service backbone teachers, with excellent academic performance. When marking the paper, the marking staff will not invite guests or make phone calls. Without permission, they are not allowed to enter the answer sheet storage room and boarding house. They are not allowed to check the scores of candidates. It is not allowed to bring mobile phones and other communication tools into the marking place. The marking software must be put into trial operation, and no one can modify it without authorization during the formal marking.

It is understood that after the results of the senior high school entrance examination are announced, candidates who have doubts about the results can apply to the admissions department for review. Only subjective questions are allowed in book search.
