Generally, there are direct methods and indirect methods for mathematical comparison in college entrance examination. The direct method is to compare whether the subtraction of two numbers is greater than 0 and whether the division of two numbers is greater than 1. Indirect method is to compare the monotonicity of functions, or to compare basic inequalities with scaling method, which is still incomparable after subtraction or division.
