Math homework design for the fifth grade

Math homework is the review and consolidation of classroom teaching, and it is also the continuation and supplement of classroom teaching. It is a routine practical activity for students to learn mathematics and develop their thinking, and it is also the main form to test students' independent completion of learning tasks. If we design new, interesting and open math homework, we can greatly improve students' learning ability. The setting of math homework should be accurate in content, novel in form and ingenious in design, so that homework can really play its due role.

Analysis of the present situation of homework: From the point of view of our school, there are many problems in the "quality" and "quantity" of math homework. Mainly manifested in the monotonous form of primary school students' homework, mechanical content and little application practice. The concrete manifestations are as follows: ① Homework is arranged in written form, with knowledge consolidation as the main task and less application practice. The homework assigned by the teacher is not exactly the same as the homework that the students like. Most of the math homework is arranged on textbooks, exercise books and other books in the classroom. ③ Students have the concept of "task" in their homework, and are unwilling to use their brains and spend time thinking independently. When you encounter problems, you should find your parents immediately or go to school to copy your classmates the next day, with the first goal of handing in your homework.

Students always passively accept the homework assigned by the teacher, and must also complete the homework in strict accordance with the regulations formulated by the teacher, without choice and autonomy. Faced with this monotonous and mechanical homework, I feel bored and disgusted, thus lacking confidence in learning mathematics well.

Working idea: 1. The content of homework should be "precise", and homework requires students to learn how to use what they have learned to solve problems correctly. Homework close to life can be designed to make students feel the connection between mathematics and life. For example, after teaching Jiao Yuan-fen, we can arrange to go home and call some children from our neighbors, use RMB from school tools, use toy stationery instead of goods, and play games to go shopping in small supermarkets. And asked to communicate with you after arriving at school the next day. This kind of homework is done in play, which fully arouses students' enthusiasm and experiences the fun of learning mathematics.

Teachers should also respect and take into account students' differences, and strive to embody the idea of teaching students in accordance with their aptitude when assigning homework. They can arrange homework by combining compulsory homework and selective homework, so that students with different cognitive levels can experience the happiness of success.

2. The form of homework should be "new"

It is boring for students to do old written homework. Teachers should give homework a new form so that students will like it.

Design exploratory homework, catch the curiosity of most children, and make students become problem investigators. Students' completing math homework is also a kind of math learning activity. Effective math learning activities rely not simply on imitation and memory, but on students' hands-on practice, independent exploration and cooperative communication, so that students can truly understand and master math knowledge, skills and math ideas and gain rich experience in math activities. Therefore, when designing homework, we should design some exploratory homework based on students' active exploration, experiment, thinking and cooperation according to the teaching content and students' experience in mathematics activities, so that students can become explorers of a problem in mathematics activities.

3. The design of homework should be "clever". In homework design, based on students' reality, we should design hierarchical homework according to students' individual differences, so as to create an environment for any student to practice, improve and develop, and let every student become a success in practice.

(1). According to students of different levels, students design imitation exercises, variant exercises and expansion exercises, and students can freely choose their own homework according to their actual situation.

(2) According to the differences between students, design some exercises with different solutions and results to meet the needs of students at different levels.

Countermeasures: 1, set up jobs in different levels.

The difficulty of homework is divided into three levels: A, B and C. Students with strong thinking ability and understanding ability can choose C, B and A if they are poor. However, it should be noted that this design will increase the workload of teachers, and teachers need to persevere and collect problem designs outside the teaching materials extensively.

For example, after teaching cuboids and cubes, I designed the following homework:

A the length, width and height of a rectangular box are 6 cm, 4 cm and 3 cm respectively. How many square centimeters of paper do you use to make this box? What is its volume?

B the sum of the sides of a rectangular carton is 52 cm, 6 cm long and 4 cm wide. What is its volume?

C the bottom area of a rectangular box is 24cm2, the perimeter of the bottom is 24cm2, and its surface area is108cm2. What is its volume?

This design can arouse students' enthusiasm for homework, avoid the monotony of homework, and fully reflect that "everyone can learn valuable mathematics, everyone can get the necessary mathematics, and different people have different developments in mathematics." At the same time, it also allows students to master the main points of knowledge, think positively and improve their ability to use knowledge flexibly in the process of solving problems.

2. Design practical work

Mathematics comes from and serves life. The actual homework is not required to be completed on the same day, and he can be fed once or two weeks. For example, ask students to count the use of plastic garbage bags by urban residents. In practice, students will apply a lot of mathematics knowledge, and when completing the investigation report, they will also comprehensively use the knowledge of various disciplines to cultivate students' comprehensive ability. But this kind of homework should pay attention to let students do what they can.

3. Design diversification.

Realistic, interesting and exploratory mathematics learning activities should be one of the main forms of mathematics learning. Students' mathematics learning can adopt such activities as operating experiments, independent exploration, bold guessing, cooperation and communication, and positive thinking. Mathematics learning takes many forms. Correspondingly, the form of math homework is not just solving problems, but presenting various forms.
