Each district has corresponding junior high school entrance conditions, and only when they meet the conditions can they enter junior high school smoothly. For example, the entry requirements for junior high schools in Haidian District are as follows:

1, a student with a student status in Haidian District, a registered student in this city and a non-registered student who has passed the examination;

2. Graduates of this city's registered primary school who are not in Haidian District, but whose family registration is in Haidian District or whose legal guardians have their own legal property and actually live in Haidian District;

3. School-age teenagers who have passed the examination shall be treated according to the household registration of this Municipality;

4. School-age teenagers who are not registered in this city and have a student status need to receive junior high school education in our district because their legal guardians work or live in our district. Their legal guardians are required to provide their employment materials in Beijing, actual residence materials in Beijing, Beijing residence permit, household registration book and other related materials, which will be jointly examined and approved by the neighborhood office or the town people's government in conjunction with relevant departments.

The following school-age children and adolescents receive compulsory education, which shall be treated as household registration in Haidian District:

Children of Taiwan compatriots recognized by the Taiwan Affairs Office of Haidian District, children of overseas Chinese recognized by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Department of Haidian District, children of postdoctoral researchers in Beijing Station recognized by the state or the Beijing postdoctoral management department, children of active servicemen who meet the conditions for settling in the army and are going through the enlistment procedures, and school-age children and adolescents whose parents have permanent residence in this city or work residence permit in Beijing.
