Mathematics liberal arts examination reduces students' burden.
The foundation of arts and sciences is all multiple-choice questions, only compulsory courses.
Yesterday, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education issued the "Reform Plan of General College Entrance Examination for Implementing the New Curriculum Experiment in General Senior High Schools in Guangdong Province (Second Draft for Comment)" within the education system. Among them, the new scheme, which combines "compulsory subjects" ("three basic courses for undergraduate students"), "designated elective subjects" ("basic courses for liberal arts/science") and "specialized elective subjects" ("subject X"), still continues the policy stability of the current college entrance examination in structure, and is not drastic, but a compromise between ideal and reality, which conforms to the reform and reality of the college entrance examination system.
According to this new plan, which has lasted for more than two years and concerns thousands of families, what changes will the 2007 college entrance examination have compared with the current college entrance examination plan?
There are four major differences between the new college entrance examination scheme and the current scheme.

Admission principle part
Determination of enrollment plan in colleges and universities
According to professional characteristics and training objectives, colleges and universities divide enrollment plans into four categories: science, liberal arts, sports and art (including music and art). Science majors include science, engineering, agriculture, forestry and medicine, while liberal arts majors include philosophy, literature (except art), history, economics, management, psychology, law and education. Majors that accept both arts and sciences should be divided into the number of enrollment plans for candidates of arts and sciences.
Determination of main elective subjects
According to the needs of professional training, colleges and universities determine the examination subject groups of each major. Science majors can choose a major in physics, chemistry and biology to form different examination subject groups. Liberal arts majors can choose a major in ideological politics, history and geography to form different examination subject groups. Each professional examination subject group can be one or more groups. When there is more than one test subject group, the test subject groups are parallel.
The elective course of physical education major is physical education; The elective subjects of art majors are music or art.
Colleges and universities should scientifically and reasonably determine the professional examination subjects according to the professional training objectives. In principle, science and engineering majors designate physics and chemistry as professional examination subjects. See the right table for the examination subjects of various disciplines. The majors that need to take the oral English test are determined by ordinary colleges and universities according to the needs of professional training.
Deadline for registration
(1) fractional form
Liberal arts majors are admitted according to the total score of five subjects, and the scores and total scores of each subject are presented in standard scores. That is to say, the total admission score of each candidate consists of 3+ liberal arts foundation or science foundation+1 X subjects, which are divided according to the standard of the total conversion score of liberal arts and science candidates. The examination results of liberal arts foundation or science foundation and "X" subject are divided according to the conversion standards of candidates in each subject.
Oral English scores are not included in the total score.
Sports and art majors are based on the sum of the test scores and technical scores of the four subjects. The scores of four subjects and the total score are presented with standard scores, and the scores of technical subjects are presented with original scores. That is, the total score of each candidate's cultural course admission consists of 3+ liberal arts foundations, which are divided according to the conversion standard of physical education and Art Candidates total score.
(2) Determination of fractional line
According to the enrollment plan of liberal arts, science, sports and art majors, the provincial admissions committee demarcates the minimum control scores of liberal arts and science majors in batches with a total score of 5 subjects (standard score); Based on the total scores of 4 subjects (standard scores) and the scores of technical subjects, the minimum control scores for admission of each batch of sports and art majors are delineated according to a certain proportion. According to the needs of professional training, colleges and universities independently determine the admission standards for spoken foreign languages.
Filing and recognition
(1) The Office of the Provincial Admissions Committee files from high scores to low scores according to the enrollment plans of arts and sciences respectively, combined with the requirements of the subjects selected by the enrollment majors and the subjects selected by the candidates.
(2) The Office of the Provincial Admissions Committee scores students from high to low in a certain proportion according to the enrollment plans of sports and arts, combined with the requirements of elective subjects of enrollment majors and the elective subjects of candidates.
(3) Ordinary institutions of higher learning choose the best candidates according to the filing of the office of the Provincial Admissions Committee, the minimum admission control score line, the admission principles and requirements announced by the school, and the comprehensive quality evaluation of candidates.
(4) The comprehensive quality evaluation is published by the Provincial Department of Education and implemented by the school. The content of comprehensive quality evaluation is truthfully recorded in the electronic files of candidates. The content includes the achievement of various scientific points during middle school, the performance in the fields of technology, art, sports and health, comprehensive practical activities or awards, etc. It is one of the admission criteria for colleges and universities to replace the graduation examination scores and graduation appraisal of candidates' current electronic files and serve as a reference for college admission.
