Introduction to mirror symmetry
Mirror symmetry is axial symmetry ~ about mirror symmetry is a line. Alexander Givental, a young mathematician at Berkeley, proved a mathematical conjecture in mirror symmetry in 1996. This conjecture is the basis of string theory. 1In the autumn of 997, Liu Kefeng, a student of Qiu Chengtong and a professor at Stanford University, spoke at a mirror-like academic conference in Harvard. According to two geometricians present at that time, Liu gave a proof similar to Givental's proof at the meeting, and the Asian Mathematical Journal published an article on "Mirror Principle I". AJM is an international mathematical magazine co-edited by Qiu Chengtong. In this paper, Qiu Chengtong and other authors claim that this is the "first complete proof" of the mirror image hypothesis, that is, mirror image symmetry.
