As far as my learning experience is concerned, linear algebra is easy first and then difficult, with high numbers and thick accumulation. Generally speaking, linear algebra is more difficult because the whole book is a system. You have learned advanced mathematics, block calculus and basic calculus well, but the latter one is not well, which does not mean that the other one is not well. But linear algebra is different. If you don't learn the middle piece well, it will be difficult to go on with the later piece.
