Opening Professor Xu Senlin's life history is a spark of wisdom: he won the first place in the math competition of Luzhi Middle School in the second day of junior high school; In her sophomore year, she won the first prize in the Suzhou High School Mathematics Competition. 1960 After being admitted to the Chinese University of Science and Technology, he became one of his best students under the training of his tutor, Academician Wu Wenjun. His research interests are geometric topology, analysis and computational complexity theory. He has presided over many research projects of National Natural Science Foundation, China Academy of Sciences and Italian Third World Science Foundation. He has published nearly 90 papers and 9 books on submanifold geometry, minimal submanifolds, spectral theory and topological invariants in important magazines at home and abroad. Among them, Mathematical Analysis, which was co-written with others, won the second prize of the excellent textbook of the State Education Commission 1986. Due to its outstanding teaching, 1979 won the special teaching prize of China University of Science and Technology and the Baosteel Teaching Award in 2000. Professor Xu Senlin's research work has reached the domestic advanced level and some international advanced levels, and has entered the forefront of domestic peer research, and has been well received by famous mathematicians such as Wu Wenjun, Smale, Kuhn and Vjevsky.
