The Mathematics Curriculum Standard for Full-time Compulsory Education (hereinafter referred to as the Standard) is formulated for the mathematics education in China's compulsory education stage. According to the requirements of Compulsory Education Law and Outline of Basic Education Curriculum Reform (Trial), this standard aims at comprehensively promoting quality education and cultivating students' innovative spirit and practical ability, defines the nature and position of mathematics curriculum, expounds the basic concept and design ideas of mathematics curriculum, and puts forward the objectives and content standards of mathematics curriculum.
