I. Overview of the competition

The mathematical modeling invitational tournament for college students is a competition organized by more than ten key universities in East China. This competition has been developing healthily for many years, and its scale and influence have been greatly improved. 2007 coincides with the centenary of Tongji University, and the mathematical modeling invitational tournament for college students in East China has entered its ninth year. The 9th East China University Student Mathematical Modeling Invitational Tournament was hosted by Tongji University. At the same time, as Tongji University Centennial Mathematical Modeling Invitational Tournament, it sent invitations to universities in East China.

Second, the purpose of the competition

The purpose of the competition is to stimulate students' enthusiasm for learning mathematics, broaden their knowledge, and improve their comprehensive ability to analyze problems independently, establish mathematical models, simulate and solve practical problems with computer technology, and write papers. Encourage young students to innovate in the research of basic and applied disciplines and enhance people's understanding of mathematical science theory and its application value. And strengthen the connection between mathematics and economic finance, computer, electronic engineering, biology, physics, chemistry and other disciplines, promote the reform of mathematics education, cultivate students' creative spirit and sense of cooperation, shape students' sense of science and technology and team spirit, and lay a more solid foundation for students to better embark on and serve the society in the future. On the other hand, I hope to improve the mathematical modeling level of college students, broaden the ideas of exchanges and cooperation in colleges and universities, create a good academic environment and build my own academic brand.

Four. Game time

Registration time:

Online registration: March19 ~ March 26th.

On-site registration: Dongda turntable at noon on March 22.

Release time: at 8: 00 on March 28th, the test questions will be released at/,and the competition will officially begin.

Time for collecting questions: All schools completed the recycling work at 20: 00 on April 3rd.
