Through extensive activities such as "Academic Month", the college has strengthened academic exchanges and communication inside and outside the school, enlivened the academic atmosphere on campus, stimulated students' enthusiasm and initiative in scientific research, greatly enriched students' after-school life and promoted their all-round and healthy development.

At the same time, we actively carry out foreign exchange activities. With the help of the inter-school cooperative relationship established by Lanzhou Business School with the University of Worcester in the UK and the Eurasian School of Management in France, we adopt various undergraduate and master's training modes such as "2+2" and "3+ 1" to send outstanding students abroad for further study every year. The College of Scientific Development takes Scientific Outlook on Development as the overall situation of all its work, firmly establishes the consciousness that teaching quality is the lifeline of the college's survival and development, promotes the improvement of teaching quality by strengthening discipline construction, and creates the "Five Talents Project" with "famous teachers, famous subjects, famous majors, famous courses and famous textbooks" as the main contents.

The college has always insisted on talent training as the fundamental task of the college, and has sent more than 9,000 high-quality applied business talents to the country, and nearly 130 fresh graduates have obtained master's degrees. Among them, more than 40 students were admitted by China Academy of Sciences, China Renmin University, Wuhan University, Jilin University, Lanzhou University, Chongqing University, xidian university University, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, Sydney University of Technology and other domestic "985, 2 1 1" key universities and famous foreign universities, and the postgraduate entrance examination rate was among the best among similar universities in the province. Alumni of Changqing College are among doctoral students from China Renmin University, Beijing Normal University and Chongqing University. At the same time, the students we trained have achieved excellent results in the National Mathematical Modeling Competition for College Students, the Computer Application Ability Competition in Gansu Province, the Entrepreneurial Design Competition, the Challenge Cup Science and Technology Competition, and the exhibition. Another student has won the national patent for utility model, and has achieved good results in college debates and social practice activities in the province for many times, and has been commended by the provincial level for many times.
