Zhang Yuangui, deputy to the National People's Congress and director of Huai 'an Education Bureau, said that the art test for the senior high school entrance examination is not a selective test, but a basic quality test. The education department has not issued any review outline and exam focus, as long as the children have a good class in the third grade. The assessment content will closely follow the national curriculum standards, teaching materials and what students should know, and there will never be any deviant problems. The requirement for students is to attend classes as required.

David Shen, deputy to the National People's Congress and director of the Education Department of Jiangsu Province, said that last year, Jiangsu organized two simulation evaluations of junior high school students' artistic quality in 24 schools in Suzhou and Thailand, and nearly 3,000 students from the two cities participated in the evaluation, which provided basic data for the development of students' artistic evaluation in our province. Last year, the Education Department of Jiangsu Province also held a seminar on the evaluation of junior high school graduates' artistic quality in Taizhou, observing the evaluation site throughout the whole process and adopting man-machine dialogue.

David Shen revealed that the Provincial Department of Education has issued the Notice on Submitting the Work Plan for Evaluating the Artistic Quality of Junior High School Graduates, which clarified the content and scope of artistic evaluation. Before April 20 17, all cities in the province are required to announce the evaluation scheme of junior high school graduates' artistic quality, and the evaluation results of junior high school graduates' artistic quality will be included in the results of the senior high school entrance examination before 2020.
