How to reduce students' schoolwork burden in mathematics teaching
I have been shouting for many years to reduce the burden of students' schoolwork, but I can't reduce it. A very important reason is that many parents are unwilling to cut back, and some teachers are unwilling to cut back. The mentality of unwilling to reduce the burden is: I am worried that reducing the burden will reduce the quality and affect the enrollment rate. One of the basic problems is the understanding of the relationship between schoolwork burden and teaching quality. With the improvement of parents' expectations for teaching quality and the awareness of choosing schools, schools and teachers must strive to improve the teaching quality in order to survive and develop. But there are two ways to improve the quality. One is to take the road of connotation development, that is, to improve teaching quality by improving teaching efficiency. This is a virtuous circle road with reasonable academic burden-students have enough free time to study by themselves and develop their hobbies-so as to study actively, actively and efficiently-with strong learning ability, sufficient development potential and high quality. The second is to take the road of extension development. In other words, the quality can be improved by extending the study time, playing the sea of questions and fatigue tactics. This is a vicious circle road with heavy burden-heavy psychological pressure in learning, poor learning ability-weariness of learning or even truancy-low teaching quality and lack of development potential. Of course, it does not rule out that extending development will bring short-term effects, but it is a short-term behavior of quick success and instant benefit at the expense of students' health and development potential, and it is not worth taking. With the above understanding, I strive to practice my internal strength and seek effective ways to reduce the burden and improve the quality.

First, correct educational thinking and get out of the misunderstanding.

I think that the heavy academic burden of students is also a comprehensive problem within the school, and it is a comprehensive reflection form of educational ideas, teaching methods and educational effects. The root of this problem lies in educational thought. To solve this problem, we must start with correcting educational thoughts. To correct the educational thought, I focused on solving three one-sided understandings: First, one-sided quality view. In other words, high burden = high quality = enrollment rate, so as to improve the quality by arranging homework beyond the tolerance of students. This practice makes students immerse themselves in homework all day and become a "machine" for doing homework, which not only hinders the development of students' thinking, learning ability and interest, but also damages their physical and mental health and binds their rich spiritual world. It is a one-sided view of quality. The essence of teaching quality should be the overall completion of educational tasks and the overall improvement of all students. The second is the distorted view of teacher love. Increasing the burden of schoolwork is accompanied by the hard work of teachers. Therefore, the heavy homework burden is often intertwined with the teacher's love and sense of responsibility. Teachers think that the more make-up lessons and homework, the more they can show their love for teachers. Parents often use this to evaluate teachers' work attitude. Otherwise, they will be labeled as "irresponsible". This practice of sacrificing students' development potential and physical and mental health is not true love for teachers, but an irresponsible performance. Third, the concept of learning is backward. It is too much emphasis on "study hard and practice hard". The length of study time and the amount of homework are used to measure students' diligence, while learning methods and learning efficiency are ignored. Learning includes not only knowledge learning, but also skills and skills learning, mental thinking-oriented ability learning, moral quality and behavior habits learning. Academic performance and study time are not completely proportional, mainly depending on learning efficiency. Today's study can't be satisfied with the traditional method of "studying hard and practicing hard", but we should think hard and teach students the learning methods and skills. As long as we adopt correct educational methods and reasonable burdens, it is possible to improve the teaching quality in an all-round way. After the change of ideas, teachers consciously shift the focus of improving teaching quality from extracurricular to classroom, pay attention to science teaching and guide students to learn science, and strive to work hard on teaching efficiency.

Second, optimize classroom teaching and improve teaching efficiency

I think the lack of in-class and out-of-class compensation is an important reason for the heavy academic burden. Therefore, it is the key to reduce the burden of schoolwork, improve the quality and improve the efficiency of classroom teaching. In classroom teaching, I ask myself to do the following five things: First, be fully prepared. The fourth is to optimize teaching methods, implement the integration of teaching technology, use audio-visual teaching as widely as possible, enhance intuition and improve the speed and length of students' memory storage. The fifth is to guide the poor students in advance, that is, organize them to preview the content of the new lesson after class, teach them some knowledge, let them understand the content of the new lesson first, lay a solid knowledge foundation for learning the new lesson, and thus create conditions for improving classroom efficiency.

Third, carefully design homework to reduce inefficient and ineffective labor.

Reducing invalid labor and its negative effects in the process of homework and pursuing the efficiency of the relationship between workload and quality is another important measure in my actual teaching. My main measures are "three prohibitions", "three controls" and "three enhancements". The third prohibition is: it is forbidden to use homework as a means to punish students who make mistakes, that is, to assign punitive homework; It is forbidden to use homework to compete for students' spare time sites; It is forbidden to arrange simple and repeated mechanical operation training without thinking. Three controls: First, control the total amount of work. The second is to control the quantity and quality of interest questions and thinking questions. The third is to control the quality of homework on Sundays and holidays. Third, strengthen: First, strengthen the control of homework design, carefully design homework, and strive to reflect typicality, hierarchy, comprehensiveness and diversity, so as to achieve less but better, and "take one as ten". Arrange the work in layers, and put forward different requirements according to "necessary work" and "optional work". The second is to strengthen the management of exercise books, problem sets and other materials. This includes teacher management and students' self-management, especially to cultivate students' ability to manage problem sets themselves, so that they can learn to use exercise books and make good use of problem sets. The third is to strengthen the revision of students' homework. Set up a review group to summarize the day, week and month.

Fourth, optimize learning methods and improve learning efficiency.

The heavy learning burden also has a great relationship with students' poor learning ability. Changing students' "learning" into "learning" and improving learning efficiency are important ways to reduce learning burden. To this end, we have taken three measures. First, implement the master position of students' learning and give them the initiative in learning. On the one hand, in the teaching process, we should implement the idea of subject education, let students find problems by themselves, let students know the process of deduction and problem solving, give students more opportunities to express themselves, get psychological satisfaction, and create conditions for students to experience the happiness of success through thinking. On the other hand, strengthen the cultivation of self-study ability and try to change "I want to learn" into "I want to learn". The second is to cultivate study habits. Good study habits can give full play to students' learning talents and bring high efficiency to learning, while bad study habits will hinder the display of talents and bring low efficiency to learning. I have made seven good habits for some students, such as class, self-study, homework, review, reading, examination and rest. I urge and strengthen students' implementation through strict, orderly and repeated training and acceptance standards, so that students can form self-movement and independent learning. After the test of time, it has been proved that this method works well. The third is to guide the study of law, promote the transformation and realize the synchronous development of knowledge and ability. I carry out teaching reform according to the idea of "guiding learning methods-cultivating learning interest-changing the original bad methods-exercising will, forming new behavior ways-cultivating learning skills-internalizing learning ability-transforming learning ability into knowledge of various subjects". Through teaching demonstration, example demonstration, students talking to themselves and group discussion, the knowledge of learning methods in various subjects has gradually become students' learning behavior, and students have gradually become familiar with learning paths.

Fifth, optimize psychological quality and enhance learning motivation.

There are internal and external reasons for students' heavy learning burden. The internal reasons are mainly manifested in the heavy psychological burden of learning, fear of learning, boredom with learning, and taking learning as a necessity and a very uncomfortable thing. To this end, I start with optimizing students' learning psychological quality, and strive to find the internal causes to solve students' excessive burden. The main measures are to cultivate and improve the psychological quality of learning and promote active development. On the one hand, the purpose of learning education should focus on the effective factors that constitute learning enthusiasm and cultivate students' good psychological quality. Such as curiosity, learning motivation, learning interest, self-confidence, willpower, independence, creativity and so on. Pay special attention to cultivating students' positive psychological quality, establish spiritual support and strive to overcome inertia. On the other hand, strengthen psychological education and consultation to prevent psychological deviation, so that they can endure all kinds of difficulties and setbacks with good psychological quality, and actively use psychological self-adjustment methods at any time to relieve their anxiety and confusion in time, so as to achieve psychological balance and maintain an optimistic attitude. Create a harmonious, happy and pleasant learning environment and atmosphere. On the one hand, we should establish a relaxed, equal, democratic and respectful psychological environment in the teaching process, and never satirize or physically punish students in disguise. On the other hand, encourage students to participate in social activities and expand their contacts. Get happiness and sustenance in communication, get inspiration and strength, so as to enhance students' social adaptability and frustration tolerance, make personalization and socialization harmonious and unified, and then promote mental health. Implement successful education to reduce psychological pressure. Never satirize or dig at students, and pay attention to protecting their enthusiasm and self-esteem. Students who fail the exam are never publicly criticized, examined or invited by their parents, but help them to attribute correctly, encourage progress and build up self-confidence. Grading academic performance requires encouraging evaluation, so that students at different levels can get the joy of success.

Six, reduce the burden of examination, scientific evaluation of quality.

Too many exams and low efficiency are also one of the reasons for the heavy burden on students. In order to reduce the test burden, I carried out the test reform according to the idea of "two reductions, one liter and one strengthening". That is, reduce the number of exam subjects and times. Reduce the pressure of exam competition, dilute the ranking of grade evaluation and reward students' learning progress. Improve the quality of examination, improve the reliability and validity of examination questions, strictly test the style, and enrich the contents and methods of examination. Self-study ability test, hands-on operation ability test and application ability test are added in the content, and oral test, written test and experimental operation are combined in the method. At the same time, it is necessary to strengthen the quality of class hours and units in the teaching process and solve the problems in the teaching process.

Teaching quality evaluation is the key "bottleneck" of the whole burden reduction system project. To reduce the burden, we must also change the "hero" evaluation model based solely on scores. Pay attention to classroom teaching quality and schoolwork burden. Attach importance to the comprehensive quality evaluation of morality, intelligence, physique, beauty and labor. The two reforms broke the traditional model of "only fraction theory" and promoted the improvement of the quality of teaching process between teachers and students.

Seven, improve their own quality, adhere to the combination of teaching and scientific research.

Excessive schoolwork burden is also a phenomenon that experiential education is inefficient and ineffective. The traditional empirical method is not enough to drive the process of change, and the old method can only choose the way of strengthening strength and prolonging time to solve new problems. Therefore, in order to reduce the burden and ensure the quality, teachers' own teaching quality must be comprehensively improved. I am committed to educational research, with the main direction of optimizing the teaching process. First, learn new textbooks, grasp the essence, and properly handle and organize textbooks. The second is to explore how to find a suitable teaching mode on the basis of enriching and developing the original teaching mode, arrange the teaching process according to the characteristics and laws of the subject, and reduce the burden on students. The third is to strengthen the "scientific research" of homework. Try to find ways to make students do less homework and learn more, and explore the best way to optimize, correct, guide and evaluate homework design. To this end, I ordered three systems for myself. The first is the teaching standard system. The purpose is to concentrate time and energy on practicing basic skills, strengthen "six consciousnesses", enhance the ability to control teaching materials and classroom teaching, effectively teach teaching materials and effectively improve classroom teaching efficiency; The second is the construction system of discipline characteristics. Strive to use two or three years to form mathematics teaching ideas, teaching research theories and teaching styles that are in line with our school's reality, and find effective ways to improve the quality of education through connotative development. The third is to implement the system of self-achievement. I am required to study, research, think and practice, so as to achieve qualified positions in education, teaching and experiment, and then strive for scientific research results and influence the education sector, thus embarking on the road of teaching and research.
