There are joys and sorrows at work. Fortunately, all students are more sensible than Grade Two, and some students have made great progress and gradually developed good study habits. What worries me is that I have paid a lot for some students, but my grades are fluctuating and I feel a little helpless.
In this semester's teaching, I learned the previous experience and lessons, and insisted on the following points:
First, pay attention to the cultivation of students' oral and written computing ability.
Calculation and written calculation are the basis of learning mathematics well, and they also account for a large part of the test paper. With strong computing power, even students with learning difficulties are more likely to score points, so for excellent students, the loss of points is greatly reduced. My practice is to set up a dictation book, and the homework is dictated every day on average 15. There are 10 written tests every week on average. According to the students' wrong questions, targeted counseling. It is also an important step to check the calculation after doing the problem. In the unit test, I repeatedly stressed that it is an effective method to improve the correct rate by completing a certain calculation.
Second, cultivate students' habit of carefully examining questions and analyzing problems.
In fact, it is not difficult for most students to learn knowledge, but it is very difficult to make mistakes when doing problems, and the reason for mistakes is often because of bad habits of examining problems. A question often only looks at the first half and looks simple and familiar. It doesn't look at what the question asks, but it is finished when you start writing, and the result doesn't matter. Others do not carefully analyze the meaning of the problem, do not clarify the relationship between the given conditions, do it without thinking clearly, and even miss the hidden conditions in the middle.
These bad habits will lead to giving up all the work before doing the problem, which is a stumbling block to students' progress. In my teaching, I conducted an experiment to let students draw the key points and easy-to-miss conditions in the topic by drawing circles, just like analyzing Chinese sentences. After a period of time, I found that the effect of students doing problems is better. However, due to the short experimental time, many students have not formed a habit and need to adhere to it for a long time.
Third: Insist on counseling students with learning difficulties.
Some people say: "The teacher who tutors students after class is an incompetent teacher, which shows that his class is not attractive." I admit, I really don't have the ability to make all students digest knowledge in every class. However, this does not mean that I don't pursue efficient classes. On the contrary, I am trying to learn from the advanced experience of excellent teachers and constantly improve my teaching methods. It should be said that every teacher strives to attend classes efficiently and will not neglect his studies in class.
Poor students, paying special attention to students with learning difficulties, often ask questions like the top students in the class, and also create opportunities for them to shine, experience success and encourage progress. However, for students with learning difficulties, we have to admit that it is difficult for them to accept problems in a short time, so counseling is also essential. Psychological counseling is a kind of compensation. Counseling is an opportunity for students with learning difficulties to fall and get up again. Counseling is to keep them from falling behind.
The above are my methods in mathematics teaching this semester, but there are still many shortcomings in teaching efficiency, which need reflection, research and summary.
In the next semester's teaching, I am going to start from the following aspects to improve the teaching level:
