Mathematics 1 only includes algebra 1 and geometry. The content is much simpler, but it is difficult to get high marks, because if one or two questions are wrong, the grades will drop.
Math 2 is much more difficult, with everything, such as triangles, matrices, series, vectors and even some calculus. But it's easy to get high marks, because you can get full marks if you make seven or eight mistakes.
I once taught the remedial class of Math 2 in America. The average grade of the class reached 790.
