Teaching design of understanding cylinder in onion micro-course integrated by PEP.
Designer: Zhangpu 07 1 Zhuo Fengfen

Teaching content: six-year series (17- 18), textbook content and related exercises.

Teaching material analysis: A cylinder is a kind of geometric figure. The textbook is introduced from the life situation, combined with the physical picture to perceive the cylinder as a whole, to help students abstract the shape of the cylinder and further explore the characteristics of the cylinder. Combined with the intuition of the cylinder, the characteristics of the bottom, side and height of the cylinder are introduced. Through the operation of rapidly rotating rectangular cardboard, students are guided to experience the formation process of three-dimensional graphics, and the concept of space is developed by combining space imagination.

Analysis of learning situation: Although students have intuitively understood the cylinder through food and models in Senior One, their understanding is superficial. This lesson will combine students' real life experience and mathematical knowledge to further explore the basic characteristics of cylinders and develop students' concept of space. It lays a good foundation for students to further study the lateral area, surface area and volume of cylinder and solve practical problems.

Teaching objective: to make students know the cylinder, master the names and characteristics of each part of the cylinder, and establish the geometric model of the cylinder. Make students experience the process of operation, observation, comparison and exploration, and improve their ability of analysis, reasoning and judgment.

Teaching emphasis: Understand and master the basic characteristics of cylinders.

Difficulties in teaching: develop the concept of space and master the basic characteristics of columns.

Teaching preparation: courseware, cylinder, triangle ruler, ruler, onion micro-lesson "Understanding cylinder" (1) video, (2) video.

Teaching methods: In order to stimulate students' interest in learning, make full use of onion micro-lessons combined with courseware to guide students to understand the characteristics of cylinders.

Learning method: The combination of micro-lesson and hands-on operation is adopted to guide students to think independently and master the characteristics of cylinders through observation, comparison, analysis, summary and comprehensive understanding.

Teaching process:

First, understand the characteristics of the cylinder.

Play the video of onion micro-lesson "Understanding of Cylinders" (1)

1, students should carefully watch the onion micro-lesson and think about what knowledge you can get from it while watching it.

2. Play the onion micro-lesson

3, students watch micro-classes, encounter questions that need to be answered or more important knowledge, and guide them to understand and master in time.

What are the characteristics of the two bottom surfaces of a cylinder? how do you know How to prove it?

4. Students talk about their gains after watching the micro-lesson.

What did you gain after reading the micro-lesson? Go ahead,

5. Combine the micro-lesson with the cylinder summary in your hand: write the three characteristics of the cylinder on the blackboard.

6. What other cylindrical objects have you seen in your life?

7. reveal the topic and write it on the blackboard

8, onion micro-class exercises

Second, understand the cylinder from the perspective of rotation and learn the height of the cylinder.

Play the video of the micro-lesson "Understanding Cylinders" (Part II)

1. Students watch the micro-lesson video carefully.

2. After reading the micro-lesson, let the students talk about their gains.

(1) List the students' answers: the number of columns is unclear,

Teacher: What is the height of the cylinder? Why is it too high to count? How to measure the height of a cylinder with a ruler? (Students' hands-on amount is high, and the method of displaying courseware is high.)

(2) Experience the conversion between plane graphics and three-dimensional graphics.

The relationship between the length and width of a rapidly rotating rectangle and the bottom and height of a cylinder.

3. Summary: The characteristics of cylinder height and the relationship between rotating rectangle and cylinder.

4, onion micro-class exercises

Third, consolidate the practice.

1, the first question on page 18 "Do it"

2. Exercise 3 Question 1.2

Fourth, the class summarizes.

What did you learn in this class? What did you get?

Verb (abbreviation for verb) layout: complete the optimization design.

Sixth, blackboard design

Teaching reflection: This class uses onion micro-lesson combined with courseware and students' hands-on operation to teach, so that students can think and learn independently, express their thinking process from multiple angles and in various forms, and perceive the characteristics of the cylinder as a whole, and the students' enthusiasm is very high. By watching the onion micro-class and the teacher's prompt guidance, we can solve the key and difficult points in the course, especially the side of the cylinder is curved, and the rectangle is rotated quickly to form a cylinder, so as to realize the conversion between plane graphics and three-dimensional graphics and find out the direct relationship between them. Students' imagination in space is limited, so it is difficult to show the formation process of this knowledge by courseware and hands-on operation, which is difficult for students to understand. Watching onion animation micro-class can help students develop the concept of space. Micro-course overcomes the shortcomings of courseware and hands-on operation, and makes abstract knowledge concrete, visual, easy to understand and easy for students to understand. Thank you very much for the third green pepper study, which made me gain a lot, enriched my theoretical knowledge and improved my teaching methods. In particular, the recent use of onion micro-classes has enriched classroom teaching, stimulated students' interest in learning and greatly improved classroom efficiency.

Today (June 5), I took a lesson of enlarging and reducing the graphics in combination with the video of onion micro-class. After learning, I asked the students at the conclusion: What have you gained after learning this lesson? I was invited by a lower-middle level classmate to answer questions. She answered the questions comprehensively and mastered the knowledge points well. She was praised. After class, the child said to me, "We will all use videos in the future, so that I can understand." As a teacher, I am flattered that this student with learning difficulties can understand the class ~

I am very grateful to Green Pepper for learning, to Onion College, and to the teachers who have paid for it. In the future, I will make good use of onion micro-class to teach and try my best to provide the best classroom for children.
