Mr. Qin Shiwei, 1922 was born in Huai 'an, Jiangsu. Learn poetry and calligraphy from my father since childhood. A little longer, I learned to carve from my neighbor, Mr. Bao Boling. After the Anti-Japanese War, he settled in Nanjing and studied ancient Chinese characters after work, especially Oracle Bone Inscriptions.

Mr. Wei Shi was a member of China Calligraphers Association, a director of Jiangsu Calligraphers Association and a librarian of Jiangsu Literature and History Research Institute. He has participated in the preparatory work of Nanjing Calligraphers Association, Nanjing Publishing House and Jiangsu Oracle Bone Inscriptions Society, and served as the first director and consultant. Since 1960s, calligraphy seal cutting works have participated in the first, third and fourth calligraphy seal cutting exhibitions in Jiangsu Province, the first and third calligraphy seal cutting exhibitions in China, the first, second and third calligraphy seal cutting exhibitions in China and South Korea. Seal cutting works and biographies have been included in the First National Calligraphy Seal Cutting Exhibition, Seal Cutting Reference Materials, Selected Works of Modern Seal Cutting, Selected Works of Modern Seal Cutting, China Seal Cutting Academic Year Table and other classics. In this issue, the Indian Research Union grandly launched an emotional and sincere memory article written by Ms. Yang, a famous calligrapher, as a souvenir.
