1. Equation teaching content: In equation teaching, Yang Hui pays attention to teaching students how to solve linear equations with one variable and linear equations with multiple variables, and how to use equations to solve practical problems. He advocates guiding students to find the solution of the equation through examples and teaching students how to test whether the solution of the equation is correct.
2. Fraction teaching content: In the aspect of fraction teaching, Yang Hui pays attention to the understanding and application of the concept of fraction, and teaches the laws of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of fractions, as well as the mixed operation and application of fractions. He emphasized the use of examples to help students understand and master the methods of fractional operation.
3. Teaching content of four operations: Yang Hui thinks that four operations are one of the most basic mathematical skills, and he emphasizes the principles, methods and laws of four operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. He advocates that in the teaching of four operations, we should pay attention to inspiring students' thinking and let them understand the truth of operations, rather than simply memorizing algorithms.
4. Teaching content of area and volume: The teaching content of Yang Hui's Area and Volume includes the calculation of plane graphic area, the concept and calculation method of three-dimensional graphic volume, etc. He pays attention to helping students understand and master the calculation method of area and volume through practical examples, and teaches students how to use this knowledge to solve practical problems.
Yang Hui's related knowledge
1, Yang Hui, the word Qian Guang, was a mathematician and math educator in the Southern Song Dynasty. Yang Hui has independently completed five mathematical works, namely, Detailed Explanation of Nine Chapters' Algorithms, Daily Algorithms, Multiplication and Division, Changing Background, Fast Multiplication and Division by Field and Mu, and Arithmetic of Taking Odd from the Ancient.
2. On the basis of predecessors, Yang Hui further developed the agile algorithm of multiplication and division, and put forward the "six multiplication methods". Yang Hui used to be a local administrative officer and traveled all over Suzhou and Hangzhou. Yang Hui's mathematical thought has a great influence on later generations. Cheng Dawei, a mathematician in Ming Dynasty, quoted many calculation methods of Yang Hui in his book Arithmetic Unity.
