How to apply information technology to mathematics teaching
Nowadays, the development of educational technology requires a fundamental change in the role of teachers. As teachers, we should change the traditional educational concept and actively carry out teaching reform and experiment. With the development of modern information technology, computers are increasingly welcomed by teachers in various subjects, especially in mathematics teaching, because of their vivid multimedia effects such as images and sounds. Traditional teaching emphasizes the role of teachers, using chalk and blackboard in class, and the teaching process is very monotonous; The application of multimedia information technology in teaching can make up for the shortcomings of traditional teaching methods, which can not only make students use their brains, eyes and ears, but also make students have a sense of novelty, uniqueness and intuition, thus stimulating learning interest and improving teaching efficiency and quality.

Keywords: innovation stimulates CAI integration

An important symbol of the development and reform of education in the world today is that modern information technology is more and more widely used in education and teaching practice. At the same time, "New Curriculum Standard" points out: "Modern information technology should change students' learning style, so that students are willing and have more energy to devote to realistic and exploratory mathematics activities. It can be seen that the application of modern information technology in teaching has become a hot issue. Integrating educational psychology theory, instructional design theory, subject teaching theory, modern information technology means with subject teaching practice is the necessity of the development of mathematics education and the requirement of mathematics subject reform. Therefore, in mathematics teaching, we should make full use of educational technology to optimize the teaching process to help students learn more effectively. So how can we better apply information technology to mathematics teaching?

1. Set up situations skillfully to stimulate students' desire for knowledge.

For students, interest is the best teacher. When students enter the multimedia classroom, their mood is often very happy and their interest is high. At this time, teachers should guide this interest into the teaching content in time, and the effect will be obvious. Through the correct guidance of teachers, the setting of new teaching scenarios and the clever introduction of new courses, students' thirst for knowledge can be stimulated.

For example, when I was teaching "Normal Distribution", I felt that there were many knowledge points and figures in this section, for fear that students would find it difficult. So I made a courseware carefully. At the beginning of the courseware, I discussed some common life examples to arouse students' interest. Then I seize this opportunity to continue to show the normal curve and its changes, so that students can find problems in the changes and draw conclusions, thus successfully infiltrating knowledge points and achieving good teaching results.

Second, reproduce the process and cultivate students' innovative spirit

One of the effective ways to cultivate students' innovative spirit in mathematics teaching is to reproduce the discovery process of mathematics knowledge, so that students can guess conclusions, discover theorems and conclusions on the basis of existing knowledge, and cultivate students' independent thinking ability.

For example, in the teaching of hyperbola, we first draw the learned ellipses and hyperbolas with the help of the geometric sketchpad, then combine the properties of each ellipse, let students guess the properties of hyperbola through independent thinking, and show the discovery and proof process of its properties again through demonstration, so as to gradually cultivate students' innovative consciousness and spirit.

3. Turn static into dynamic, and break through key and difficult points.

Mathematics teaching content is sometimes abstract, and traditional teaching methods have certain limitations. The computer can concretize and visualize abstract concepts, display them dynamically, and strengthen students' intuitive impression. This can make up for the key and difficult teaching that traditional teaching methods can't overcome, and achieve twice the result with half the effort.
