According to Baidu Encyclopedia, Xi Jiaotong University, referred to as "Xi Jiaotong University", is located in Xi, Shaanxi Province, and is a comprehensive research-oriented national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of China. By June 2023, there are 32 colleges (departments and centers) in the school, namely, School of Mathematics and Statistics, School of Physics, School of Chemistry, School of Mechanical Engineering, School of Electrical Engineering, School of Energy and Power Engineering, School of Human Settlements and Architecture Engineering, and School of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

Xi jiaotong university is one of the first universities to enter the national "21project", "985 project", the national "seventh five-year plan" and "eighth five-year plan", and was selected into the "Everest Plan", "Strong Foundation Plan" and "201/plan".
