20 19 Report on Social Practice of Rural Primary Schools in Summer
Report on summer social practice of rural primary schools.

Time is like water, and years are like songs. The summer social practice of the course "Ideological and Moral Cultivation and Legal Basis" for college students in Xi 'an University of Arts and Sciences has finally come to an end. For me, who often stays in a cool room and has hardly suffered, it is really hard to practice. I sweated a lot, suffered a lot, and my skin was tanned a lot, but no one complained and regretted it. During the short practical investigation activities, I tried to integrate myself into the countryside as soon as possible and become one of them.

During this period, we also gained a lot. We not only put the theoretical knowledge we learned in school into play, but also honed our will, cultivated our fighting spirit and gave us an opportunity to actively fight against fatigue and seek comfort. In practice, our experience has been purified; Thought has been edified; Understanding has been sublimated; Consciousness has been improved. I am very grateful to the teacher for letting me participate in this social practice, so that I can fully understand the countryside and understand the countryside. This activity gave me a lot of feelings, and also let me taste the true feelings of the world. ...

I will talk about my understanding of the countryside from the perspective of rural education. The problem of compulsory education in several villages we investigated is still very serious.

First of all, the conditions and requirements for running schools in most rural primary and secondary schools are far from each other, with few modern educational equipment and simple educational means. At present, most rural areas have no software and hardware, so it is not easy to shorten the education gap between urban and rural areas. Restricted by the conditions of running a school and the strength of teachers, the overall level of rural primary and secondary schools is indeed far from that of cities, and the school-running ideas and educational concepts in rural areas are still relatively old. I once talked to a junior high school student in Tangjiacun. He told me that they didn't come into contact with computers until they entered junior high school, but in cities, primary school students have mastered computer operation. This is the gap.

Secondly, the conditions for running schools in rural areas are poor, and teachers' salaries are generally low, making it difficult to attract high-quality teachers. Excellent young teachers and music, art, physical education and English teachers in rural schools are very scarce. At present, most schools can't hire excellent teachers with the same high salary as schools in cities. The shortage of high-level teachers makes it difficult to guarantee the quality of rural education.

In my opinion, there is a serious shortage of teachers in rural schools, but at the same time, we can see that so many college students can't find employment opportunities every year, and rural schools are in urgent need of talents. Why don't college students go where they really need themselves? Every year, graduates flock to big cities with abundant talents. In order to stay in the city, they even choose jobs with different majors. I remember a classmate said this at the conclusion meeting of Tangjiacun Primary School: "During these days in Tangjiacun, I felt the enthusiasm of the villagers and the children's thirst for knowledge. I was moved by their enthusiasm, and I want to stay ... "

If more college students have such consciousness and such thoughts, there will be a shortage of teachers in rural areas. However, there is no doubt about mountains and rivers, and there is another village. Recently, the state has issued a series of preferential policies. Starting this year, six normal universities across the country will waive all tuition and miscellaneous fees for students who are willing to teach in western rural areas after graduation. This move will enable more college students to contribute to the western countryside.

Thirdly, rural primary and secondary school students drop out of school seriously and have low education level. In addition to the education system, the simplification of rural education model is also one of the important factors. Influenced by exam-oriented education, rural education in China is also a single exam-oriented education model. Once there is no hope of further study, all previous efforts will be in vain. Our group visited many villagers and families and discussed with parents the problem of children dropping out of school, which can be summed up in the following three points:

The first point: the school teacher doesn't speak well, and some students are tired of learning, so they drop out of school and go out to work;

The second point: in order to pursue the enrollment rate, the school diverts poor students out, which makes many junior high school students drop out of school and go out to work;

The third point: the inability to attend school has also caused some students to drop out of school.

Personally, I think that in order to reduce the dropout of rural students, we must first change our concepts; Secondly, we should change the single rural education mode and carry out multi-level and all-round rural education, so that rural students can learn from each other, apply what they have learned, do their best and get their place. In the evaluation standard of teaching quality, we should use the rate of reaching the standard rather than the rate of entering higher education to measure it, and establish a new concept of facing all students and improving their quality in an all-round way.

The problems of agriculture, farmers and rural areas are prominent problems in the economic and social development of contemporary China, and their development will largely determine the development process of modernization. Rural education is not only the basic condition of rural development, but also an important embodiment of rural development. I once read a report on the Internet that the rural population in China (inland) accounts for 65% of the total population in China, and the population quality is low. The illiterate and semi-illiterate population is 265.438+0.9 million. Among the rural employed population, illiteracy and semi-illiteracy account for 35.9%, primary school education accounts for 37.2%, and the number of college students is 4 per 10,000 people. This situation is a heavy burden in the process of modernization. Vigorously developing rural education and transforming the heavy population burden into the advantage of human resources is not only an important goal of education development, but also a strategic task to promote the modernization process. Therefore, we call on the government to increase rural education construction.

Moreover, the gap between urban and rural education can not be solved in a short time. The problem now is not to continue to widen this gap and then gradually create conditions to try to narrow it. What needs to be worked hard now is to realize the balanced development of education in a county. What we can do is, first of all, the distribution of government education funds and other educational resources should be distributed to every school according to the principle of fairness.

The construction of "model schools" in rural areas should not only be ahead of time, but also be fair in competition. The government's education funds should not be concentrated in individual schools to artificially create unfair competition. At present, rich schools are getting poorer and poorer, so the government should pay more attention to the construction of weak schools in rural areas, rather than icing on the cake. For those schools with good conditions, the policy can be appropriately relaxed to allow them to improve themselves and manage themselves.

As college students in the 2 1 century, social practice is a good form to guide us out of school and into society. It is an important stage to hone character, increase talents and realize all-round development; Is to establish the idea and consciousness of serving the society. At the same time, social practice has deepened my feelings with farmers, narrowed the distance between me and the countryside, broadened my horizons, increased my talents, further clarified our historical mission, and enabled us to find our own value.

Thanks again to the teacher for giving me personal experience. I will continue my studies with this experience, and when I achieve something in my studies, I will devote myself to rural construction.

Report on summer social practice of rural primary schools II

This is my first summer social practice after I went to college. After thinking about it, I decided to start teaching assistant activities in my hometown primary school in combination with my various situations, including my major and hobbies.

On the afternoon of July 20th, I walked into the gate of my alma mater: Qingchuan Central School with a letter of recommendation from the school. During the holiday, there were not many people on campus. In midsummer, the campus is lush and beautiful. This land has witnessed my whole childhood, but walking on campus, I can't find traces of that year, and it is no longer that humble rural primary school! My alma mater, she grew rapidly. In the principal's office, I met the approachable President Jin Enlong. President Jin is less than forty years old and amiable. When he learned that I was also a graduate of this primary school, he was very happy and gave me a lot of encouragement and appreciation, which moved me very much.

I specifically asked President Jin about the teachers who taught me in those years, and I learned that most of the other teachers were transferred to other places or retired except Mr. Yan, who taught me Chinese in the fifth grade. Because it was during the summer vacation, I felt very sorry that I couldn't meet my teacher in person. After I explained my purpose to President Jin, President Jin said that talents with professional knowledge were very welcome to practice and study in the school and gave me a lot of advice and help. After arrangement, President Jin decided to let me serve as a teaching assistant in the summer English special class, starting from August 1 day and ending on August 16.

Qingchuan Central Primary School was formerly known as Li Jiazhuang Primary School and Qingchuan Primary School. In September 2002, two primary schools merged, and now they are quite large. The classrooms in the four-story building are spacious and bright, and the windows are bright and clean. There are all kinds of teaching facilities, entertainment places and playgrounds, which are comparable to urban primary schools. There are now 25 teachers in the school. They have all received professional education, and their average education level is above technical secondary school. Among them, teachers aged 20-40 12 and teachers aged 40-50 13. It can be said that energetic young people and experienced mature people complement each other and the distribution is very reasonable. The students in the school are all from the surrounding countryside, and * * * covers ten areas: Datun, Qingchuan, Zhongchuan, Chuansi, Weizi, Li Jiazhuang, Yangjiazhuang, Xujiazhuang, Wujiadong River and Huashiqiao. There are two classes in the school from grade one to grade five, with about 50 students in each class. In the teaching process, multimedia teaching accounts for 50% of the total teaching.

Although I am a college student, the courses I teach are all primary school contents, but I am very uncertain because I have no teaching experience. After coming home from school, I read professional books such as educational psychology, developmental psychology, primary school English, English teaching method, etc. borrowed from school, and inquired about the exchange of experience on the Internet, hoping to recharge myself before the formal class.

On August 1, I got up early, arrived at school with a nervous but excited mood, and started my summer job as a teaching assistant. Teacher Jin, who attended the summer English special class, came earlier than me. He knows that I have a lot to learn from him. There are forty students in Special Class One, all eleven or twelve years old. Most of what we need to teach is everyday language, common words and so on. For me, this is the simplest basic knowledge, but for children, this is something new that they have not touched.

In my opinion, primary school students should first cultivate their interest in learning English. Generally speaking, games are the most popular activities for children and a good form of English classroom teaching. Therefore, I suggest that Mr. Jin play English games in class in combination with the teaching content, impart and consolidate knowledge through games, and entertain and learn English knowledge through games. This method has achieved good results, and children are learning happily and making rapid progress. In addition, we also integrate music and art into English teaching in the form of games. In the teaching process, I found that most students are competitive, have strong self-esteem, love to express themselves and praise, so I pay special attention to stimulating their interest by means of incentives, and find their bright spots at any time to affirm them, so that they can have a pleasant emotional experience, thus effectively mobilizing their enthusiasm and constantly realizing the happiness of learning progress.

I think my greatest achievement in the teaching process is my unprecedented patience. The way and ability of primary school students to receive and remember knowledge has its own characteristics and limitations, so it is impossible to teach from their own subjectivity in teaching. Students often encounter obstacles in very simple places in their studies. When encountering such problems, teachers need to explain and demonstrate patiently. If you fail once, you will fail twice. If you fail twice, you should also reflect on whether your teaching methods are correct. In the process of teaching, it is very common for us to spend a whole class correcting a pronunciation mistake of students. When I encountered difficulties in teaching, the teachers around me patiently explained them to me, and their experiences helped me a lot.

I found that the biggest problem facing English teaching in rural primary schools now is the shortage of teachers. And this issue has not been taken seriously by senior leaders. In fact, most rural students fall behind urban students because of their poor English after entering junior high school and senior high school. This is not to say that their qualifications are not good, but because they started late and did not receive a good education in this subject. It's unfair to them. Schools should adjust teachers, improve their professional level, and strive to make rural children and urban children stand on the same starting line.

On August 16, my social practice ended. I feel very sad in the face of these hard-working children and teachers who have helped me a lot. Seeing that the children's English level has been greatly improved, my heart is full of pride and pride. Teachers and students gave very positive comments on my work. Compared with my harvest, these sixteen days' efforts are nothing. This practice has increased my reading comprehension and confidence, improved my thinking ability, problem-solving ability and cognitive ability, broadened my horizons and cultivated my sentiment, thus enabling me to know myself and have a deeper understanding of life and society.

This internship is really an unforgettable experience for me and an important asset in my life.

Report on Summer Social Practice of Rural Primary Schools (Part III)

Before the holiday, a classmate asked me, "Shuang Hu, what social practice did you do in the summer vacation?" I will tell him: "rural basic education resources, primary education, do it in my hometown." Many times, others only care about what you did, and only we know why.

I know exactly why I chose this theme. My hometown is located in an ordinary village in Huangchuan County, Henan Province. The town where my hometown is located-Shuangliu Tree Town (also referred to as Shuangliu for short) is dominated by agriculture with little industrial development, but a typical feature is that the whole Xinyang area is the main force of the labor export army in Henan Province. It shows that in our village, about 95% of the young people in the village go to Jiangsu and Zhejiang to work every year. They only go home when they are busy planting and having a holiday in spring and autumn. The tide of going out to work makes Shuangliu people live richer and better, but the situation in their hometown can't keep up with the pace of economic development in many aspects. To make matters worse, some of them are even worse than before, such as the environment, such as the education of village primary schools.

The primary school in our village is called Fan Peng Primary School. When I was in primary school, there were about 400 students in the school. At the opening ceremony in autumn, the narrow playground is always crowded with lively and lovely children. There were many young, passionate and energetic teachers in the school at that time. They told us the romance of the Three Kingdoms, and there was a piano in the office. At that time, there was basically no difference between the graduates of the small village and the primary school graduates of the central primary school in the town.

At present, there are less than 80 students in Fan Peng primary schools in the 2010-201school year, and classes only begin in the third grade. After school starts this fall, even the third grade may not be able to continue. There are eight old teachers in the school. They were all teaching when I was at school. Now they are still in Fan Peng Primary School, and two of them will retire before the end of the year. For more than ten years, the school buildings have not changed much. The once narrow playground is now full of trees and weeds. Ruthless cobwebs silently sealed the vicissitudes of primary school. Coincidentally, the change of primary schools in Fan Peng is not a case in Shuangliu, and the situation in other villages is similar, which is also not optimistic. In short, the current situation of Shuangliu's basic education is heartbreaking!

I grew up in the fields of my hometown and walked on the road of my hometown. If I am ignorant and heartless, that's all right, but if I have the heart, I'm confused. So, at first glance, the good situation I saw when I was ignorant, but now in my eyes, there are many intractable pains. There are problems everywhere in the environment, land, education, health and medical care.

I am a student in Fan Peng Primary School, but now I have witnessed its decline. How can I stand it? Walking on the road in my hometown, wandering in front of red bricks and gray tiles, listening to my aunt's after-dinner chat, discussing the changes that have taken place in my hometown in recent years, and thinking about the issues I care about. Do you think you should really do something if you can, even if your strength is humble? I am eager to know the reason behind the problem. This wish stems from my concern and love for my hometown and from a heartfelt hope. Who doesn't want my hometown to get better and better?

First of all, practice makes true knowledge.

On March 5th, 1927, Mao Zedong published the Investigation Report of Hunan Peasant Movement. This is the "social practice report" of young Mao Zedong's 32-day trip to five counties in Hunan. At that time, the * * * production party, which was still in its primary stage, lacked experience in revolutionary struggle and did not understand the situation of the peasant movement. The peasants' revolutionary struggle is mainly blamed inside and outside the Party. Mao Zedong, who holds the opposite opinion, decided to do it himself. 1October 4th to February 5th, 1927+65438, focusing on the peasant movements in Xiangtan, Xiangxiang, Hengshan, Liling and Changsha, Hunan Province, wrote the Investigation Report on the Peasant Movement, and put forward the theories and policies to solve the central problems of the democratic revolution in China. This report is of great significance for guiding the modern China revolution, and it can be said to be a benchmark for practical knowledge.

In fact, during his study in Changsha First Normal University, Mao Zedong paid great attention to reading the book without words. In today's work, it is to learn from the society, go deep into reality and investigate and study. 19 12 In the summer, Mao Zedong once spent the summer vacation with Xiao Zisheng. Without any money, he traveled all over the counties in Hunan to get in touch with the society, understand the people's feelings and experience the local customs. More than a month of study tour, passing through five counties, the journey is nearly a thousand miles. After returning to school, Mao Zedong wrote many notes and experiences. After reading it, the students and teachers of the First Normal University praised Mao Zedong as "penniless and concerned about the country and people". This kind of study tour, Mao Zedong has had many times, and has gained a lot; Understanding the society and observing the people's feelings will have a far-reaching impact on his future revolutionary activities.

Just classmates and teenagers, young, scholar spirit, Fang Qiu. In college, we were about the same age as Mao Zedong. Although our backgrounds and growing environments are quite different, this should not be an excuse to avoid practice. It is necessary for us to learn from Mao Zedong, not only to read "books with words", but also to read "books without words". Things without words in books are necessarily different from advanced mathematics physics in class. However, the book without words is not so good to read. I know that the difficulty of avoiding serious social practice is not the way, but the effort to face it.

As far as the social practice theme of our team is concerned, we chose rural basic education resources because we realized that Shuangliu did have this problem. Why is the number of rural primary school students dropping sharply year by year? Why is it more and more difficult for teachers to move? What is the degree of implementation of relevant government policies? For these pressing problems, we may be able to get a glimpse of them through the word of mouth of our neighbors.

But what is the authenticity and credibility of the answer in this case? How many subjective factors are mixed? I don't know. In order to obtain more comprehensive and accurate information, we must expand the channels of obtaining information, collect the voices of ordinary residents in a wider and more effective area, summarize and analyze these voices comprehensively, and get the results. Therefore, we choose to go deep into the masses, to the fields and to the streets. ...

For example, there are two main reasons for the decrease in the number of primary school students in this village: first, due to family planning, the birth rate has decreased, and the total number of local school-age children has decreased; Second, the quality of rural primary education is getting worse and worse, which makes a large number of rural students transfer to Shuangjinliu No.1 Central Primary School (hereinafter referred to as complete primary school). However, in the course of the visit, in addition to the reasons we can think of, we also learned that: First, it is very common for Shuangliu to go out to work, and many parents will take their children with them and let them go to school in other places; Second, Shuangliushu Town has vigorously promoted urbanization in recent years, with an increase in urban population and a decrease in rural population. Wealthy hometown people are trying to make their children "go to high school" in order to get a better education. This information is closer to reality and can't be obtained by daydreaming in class. Unfortunately, due to the limitation of time and technology, we can't accurately know the weight of the above reasons that affect the decrease of the number of primary school students in this village.

Social practice is less than seven days. But these seven days, we know more about rural primary schools in our hometown than in the past ten years. We visited Huangchuan County Education and Sports Bureau, Shuangliushu Town Central School, Shuangliushu Town First Central Primary School, Shuangliushu Town Second Central Primary School, Fan Peng Primary School, Tianqiao Primary School and Shuguang Primary School. We have obtained a lot of effective statistical data in the archives of central schools and primary schools. We made about 200 questionnaires from door to door, with nearly 400 visitors in total. We did find many problems and the root causes of these problems. Only practice is the root of solving problems!

Second, harvest

As far as the subject itself is concerned, we have a deeper understanding of the reasons for the decrease in the number of primary school students in this village and the factors that cause the serious unreasonable structure of rural primary school teachers in many ways. We have also seen the difficulties faced by rural primary schools in infrastructure construction and maintenance. We mainly learned the basic situation of five primary schools in Shuangliu, talked with the principals or teachers of these schools, and visited the residents around the primary schools to understand their cognition of local primary education. (See the social practice survey report for specific results. Social practice shows us the disadvantages of the existing education system, and more importantly, the responsibility that the government should shoulder.

There are many complicated situations, some of which we can control and understand, and some of which we can understand but cannot change. Through this social practice, our views on Shuangliu rural primary education are more practical and in-depth, but we can only give suggestions on how to solve these problems that have been discovered. As for whether it can be effectively implemented, it mainly depends on the government. This is probably the case, which is also one of the shortcomings of students' social practice.

In addition to subjects, more is to train the players of "Southeast Henan", such as communication, language expression ability, teamwork, distribution and division of labor, etc. I remember the first day when we did a questionnaire survey in Fan Peng primary school. The first object of investigation is an aunt. She couldn't understand many words and questionnaires, which stumped us. In order to ensure that the interview and investigation can go on, I have to go out in person, chat with her and put the contents of the questionnaire into my daily conversation. After tossing for more than ten minutes, I finally opened the situation and completed the first questionnaire. It's not easy. In view of this situation, we immediately discussed the countermeasures and decided to change the way of questionnaire survey. In rural areas, we don't just do questionnaires, but chat with ordinary people to get the information we want. In this way, our visits and questionnaires in rural areas can be maintained.

In the follow-up practice, the most important test for everyone is the ability of communication and language expression. Talking with the leaders in the office, or chatting with the aunt who is sitting at the door to choose food, the actual situation always requires us to figure out each other's psychology and see what others say, so as to determine how to express ourselves properly, how to eliminate each other's doubts and vigilance, and how to obtain the information we need. You will find that everything is difficult at the beginning. After opening the situation, uncles and aunts are willing to open their hearts and be honest with each other. From department heads to illiterate ordinary people, we can have a good talk with them. Can we be unhappy in this situation?

Wearing a Southeast University T-shirt and a dazzling little red riding hood, walking on the busy street, the eyes of passers-by soon gathered on us. They may be out of curiosity, but for us, those eyes mean expectation and pressure. Walking on the road of hometown, we represent not only ourselves, but also Southeast University.

What is depressing is that the popularity of Southeast University is too low in our place. During the visit, many people either thought that Southeast University was in Fujian, or that Southeast University was an unknown second-and third-rate school (someone actually asked us if we could get more than 300 points in the college entrance examination this year! )。 So after introducing ourselves to others, we always add a lot of footnotes to Southeast University. Along the way, we dare not say how well we have shown the mental outlook of Southeast University students, but we can clap our chests and say responsibly, "We have never humiliated Dongda!" " "

During the visit, an uncle asked us, "What's the use of what you are doing now? The government doesn't care about your business. To put it bluntly, you know the situation yourself. In fact, it is useless. " This sentence has always touched me. It's plain and ugly, but it's true. To tell the truth, even in the field of education where the conflict is not very fierce, the investigation obviously involves the actions and interests of government departments in the end. In this regard, we can basically only feedback our survey results and expect them to change. Maybe we are still unable to change the reality, but at least we have a clearer understanding, exercised ourselves in the process of social practice, gained friendship, and learned a lot that we couldn't learn in school. This is the value!

Third, thank you.

"Southeast Henan" is a team. We worked together in the scorching sun, crossed the streets, made suggestions and made efforts together. Thank you for your efforts and sweat. Everyone is tanned. During those days in the country, Huang Kai's boss would invite us to dinner at noon. Cool watermelons and sumptuous lunches always make us feel particularly embarrassed. After contacting the small archives and Shuangliushu Town Central School, Mr. Peng worked hard for this and provided us with a lot of heavyweight help. Thank you is not enough to express. Good people are safe all their lives. Besides, in the process of our social practice, there are still many unknown enthusiasts. Without their care and support, we could not have gone so smoothly! Thanks again, take care!

Although short-lived, it is destined to be an experience worth remembering!
