"City Hunter" is a Shuimu drama premiered by South Korea's SBS TV station on May 25th, 20 1 1. Directed and written by Huang He, starring Lee MinHo, Park Cho Min-young, Li Xunhe, Jin Xiangzhong, Huang Shanxi and Kohara Seiji.
The play is adapted from the comic book of the same name by Japanese cartoonist Tsusaka Kita. On 1983, Park Wu Lie and his good friend Li Jiading (Jin Xiangzhong) were ordered to lead a team to sneak into Pyongyang to carry out an assassination mission. Unexpectedly, they were betrayed during the retreat. Twenty agents, including Park Wulie, were killed, but Li Jiading escaped.
Four of the five high-level officials who originally sent out this task decided to spread the message out of thin air to all the agents who carried out this task to cover up the possible subsequent impact of this task.
20 1 1 A young doctor who returned from studying abroad entered the National Intelligence Department of Cheongwadae. His name is Li Runcheng (Lee MinHo). He is young, rich and romantic.
However, no one knows that Li Runcheng's father was Wu Lie. He was killed that year and was raised by Zhen Xuan who escaped death that year. He came here to avenge the 20 lives owed by five senior officials, although some of them have become presidents.
