Dissertation is an academic paper written for applying for a degree, which is the main basis for judging the academic level of degree applicants and one of the necessary conditions for degree applicants to obtain a degree. In order to standardize and unify the writing of graduate dissertations in our college, according to the relevant provisions of the Interim Measures for the Implementation of the Regulations on Academic Degrees in People's Republic of China (PRC), the following requirements are put forward:

1 Basic requirements for master's degree thesis

The master's degree thesis should pay attention to the selection of valuable topics in basic or applied disciplines, and there are new insights or new achievements in the topics studied, which shows that the author has mastered the solid basic theory and systematic professional knowledge of this discipline and has the ability to engage in scientific research or clinical diagnosis and treatment.

A dissertation must be a systematic and complete academic paper (or a set of papers). Dissertation should be the research result independently completed by the degree applicant under the guidance of the tutor, and it is not allowed to copy or plagiarize other people's achievements. The academic viewpoint of the paper must be clear, logical and fluent.

The work of master's degree thesis generally begins after the graduate students complete the courses specified in the training plan, and should include literature reading, topic opening report, formulation and implementation of work plan, scientific research, experimental research, theoretical analysis and text summary. Master's degree thesis must have a certain workload. After the topic of the paper is determined, the time spent on the paper work shall generally not be less than one year. To apply for a master of science degree, the number of words in the dissertation shall not be less than 20,000 words.

2. Composition and arrangement order of dissertations

Dissertation generally consists of the following parts: cover, title page, original text, table of contents, abstract, text, references, abstract, appendix, published articles, thanks and resume. The order is as follows:

According to the cover requirements of the former National Bureau of Standards "Writing Format of Scientific Reports, Dissertations and Academic Papers" (national standard GB77 13-87), the cover format of graduate dissertations in Xinxiang Medical College is specified, and the following specific requirements are put forward:

2. 1. 1 Title of the paper The title of the paper should concisely summarize and reflect the core content of the paper, generally no more than 20 words, and a subtitle can be added if necessary. The first letter of an English topic and the first letter of each real word should be capitalized.

2. 1.2 Lecturer The lecturer must be an approved lecturer.

2. 1.3 The names of disciplines and specialties shall be filled in according to the names in the catalogue of disciplines and specialties promulgated by the state.

2. 1.4 The submission date of the paper shall be filled in according to the actual submission date. The completion date should be expressed in capital letters: for example, March 2006, not March 2006.

2.2 Thesis Catalogue

Thesis catalogue is the outline of the thesis and the subtitle of each chapter of the thesis. The page number should be marked at the end of each item. The text part of the table of contents is aligned to the left, the page number is aligned to the right, and a line is added between the text and the page number.

2.3 Abstract of the paper

The abstract of a paper should generally reflect the main content of the paper, highlight the creative achievements or new ideas of the paper, and should not be confused with the introduction. Use structured abstracts, including objectives, methods, results and conclusions, and the contents of Chinese and English abstracts should be consistent. Chinese abstracts are concise and accurate, and the number of words is about 800- 1000. Chinese abstracts are marked with abstracts, and English abstracts are marked with abstracts.

In Chinese and English abstracts, the 35 keywords in this article must start on a new line, with a space after the keywords and no punctuation. Use semicolons (; ) separated. Chinese keywords should use the standardized words mentioned in the Chinese Thesaurus as far as possible.

In addition, you need to prepare a Chinese and English abstract of about 2000 words, which is not bound together with the dissertation, but bound separately.

2.4 Text

The text is the main body and core part of the dissertation, and different disciplines and subjects can have different writing methods. The text generally includes the following aspects:

2.4. 1 Introduction is the beginning of the main part of the paper, which requires conciseness and cannot be the same as the abstract, nor can it be a comment of the abstract. In addition to explaining the research purpose, methods and results, it should also comment on the research status at home and abroad and the existing research results in related fields; This paper introduces the premise and task, theoretical and experimental basis, scope and expected results of this study, as well as the problems solved in this paper on the basis of existing problems.

2.4.2 Each specific chapter

2.4.3 Conclusion The conclusion is the final conclusion of the paper and the destination of the whole paper. It should be refined, accurate and complete. This paper mainly introduces the creative achievements or new ideas of the author's research and their significance in this research field, and further puts forward some problems and suggestions that need to be discussed.

2.4.4 What should the drawings contain? Self-evident? That is, you can understand the meaning of pictures only by looking at pictures, titles and legends without looking at words. Each picture should have a short and accurate title and be placed under the picture together with the picture number.

Must the vertical and horizontal coordinates of graphics be marked? Quantity, standard symbol and unit? The symbols and abbreviations of the quantities marked on the coordinates must be consistent with those in the text.

Photos should be pasted with the original photos, or printed in black and white color, and copying is not allowed. Photos should have prominent themes, distinct levels, clear and tidy, and moderate contrast. Photos are made of glossy paper, not cloth printing paper. Microstructure photos must be marked with magnification.

2.4.5 The arrangement of tables is generally that the contents and test items are read horizontally from left to right, and the data are arranged vertically in sequence. The tables should be self-explanatory. Each table should have a short and accurate title and put it on the table together with the table number. All columns in the table should be marked? Quantity or test items, standard symbols and units? Abbreviations and symbols in the table must be consistent with those in the text. If the data has been charted, it may not be listed.

2.4.6 All units used in this article adopt the legal measurement units of People's Republic of China (PRC) issued by the State Council, and the writing method of unit names and symbols adopts international common symbols.

2.4.7 All figures in the text shall be in Arabic numerals.

2.4.8 Statistical symbols are indicated in italics according to the relevant provisions of GB3358-82 Statistical Noun Symbols.

2.4.9 Foreign abbreviations: When using foreign abbreviations, their meanings should be explained in brackets when they first appear.

2.5 references

Thesis writing should be based on a rigorous and realistic scientific attitude, and all references to other people's achievements should be listed at the end of the paper in the order of citation. The description format of references adopts sequential coding system, and the references are marked with Arabic numerals and square brackets in the upper right corner of the corresponding position according to the order in which they appear in the text (for example, [1]). Cite all references with no more than 3 authors, and only the first 3 authors are cited and added (Chinese) or et al (English) for those with more than 3 authors.

The description method of reference documents for dissertations in our college is based on GB/T 77 14? Rules for the Description of References after Text, 2005.

2.5. 1 If the document is a periodical, the writing format is:

2.5.6 References shall be marked with file identification codes, which are identified with single letters according to GB3469-83 "Code of File Types and File Carriers" as follows:

2.5.7 For references to electronic literature types, such as databases, computer programs and electronic bulletin boards, it is suggested to use the following two letters as symbols:

2.5.8 The carrier type and marking of electronic documents For electronic documents with non-paper carriers, when they are cited as references, the carrier type shall be indicated in the reference type marking. OL, together with [file type tag/carrier type tag], indicates a reference type tag including the file carrier type.

Traditional literature with paper as the carrier does not need to indicate the carrier type when it is cited as a reference.

2.6 Literature review

Reading the literature on a certain subject, after understanding, sorting, comprehensive analysis and evaluation, is a style different from research papers. The purpose of the review is to reflect the new level, new trends, new technologies and new discoveries of a certain discipline. From its history to present situation, existing problems and development trend, this paper makes a comprehensive introduction and comment, so that readers can quickly and comprehensively understand the relevant situation without consulting a large number of documents.

The content of literature review should be related to the research topic of the dissertation, with indicative abstracts and 35 keywords. Can the references involved in the literature review be listed separately? Literature review? After that, the requirements are the same as above.

2.7 The appendix includes the formula derivation that is too lengthy in the text, the auxiliary mathematical tools needed by others for easy reading, repeated data charts, symbolic meanings used in the text, unit abbreviations, the full text of the program and related explanations. Not a necessary part.

2.8 The catalogue of published articles refers to the academic papers published or accepted by degree applicants in various official journals during their study, and only indicates the title, published periodical, year, volume, issue and page number. See the attachment for the format.

2.9 Acknowledgement expresses the author's gratitude to the teachers, classmates, leaders, colleagues and relatives who helped complete the thesis and research.

2. 10 Resume includes basic personal information, work and study experience, etc.

3. Paper typesetting, printing and binding requirements

Papers must be input into the computer and typeset in word documents.

3. 1 Page setup: paper A4, margins: top? 3.5 cm, down? 3.5 cm, left? 3.0 cm, right 2.5 centimeters. Header from the boundary: 2.2 cm, footer from the boundary: 2.2 cm. Typing on the header? 3.3 Numbers, notes, references and formulas in the text shall be numbered consecutively (or by chapter) with Arabic numerals. The order and name of the drawings are placed at the bottom of the drawings; Table order and table name are placed above the table. The number of formulas on the test paper is written in brackets at the end of the right line, with no dotted line in the middle.

3.6 The cover of dissertations shall be uniformly printed by the whole hospital, and the cover of dissertations that recruit graduate students and people with equivalent academic qualifications to apply for master's degrees shall be distinguished with different colors.

3.7 Number of copies of printed or copied papers
