Introduction to the dominant disciplines of the University of Toronto
There are more than13,000 in-service professors and more than 56,000 registered undergraduates in the three campuses of the University of Toronto. About 700 undergraduate majors, covering humanities, social sciences, life sciences, physical and mathematical sciences, business and management, computer science, engineering, human kinematics and sports, music, architecture and other major fields.

Advantage major:

International development studies:

In scarborough Campus, students who are interested in social justice can study interdisciplinary, and the courses involve social science, humanities, health science and other fields. The paid internship program also gives students the opportunity to participate in overseas development research projects for 10 months.

Engineering science:

This multidisciplinary major needs two years of basic courses and then two years of professional courses. Majors can choose one from nine fields, such as aerospace, engineering mathematics and nano-engineering.

Business: The four-year business major is highly competitive, and only 1 out of every 10 competitors can be admitted. After a year of basic course study, students are divided into different majors.
