Chifang Floriculture is the oldest school in the field of floral teaching, which was founded by famous artists in the15th century. The name of Chifang was taken from the Hexagonal Hall (Chohoji Temple) in Kyoto. At that time, many monks in the Hexagonal Hall were good at setting up flowers for celebration. Therefore, Chifang is synonymous with the flower path.

In the third year of Kuanzheng in Japan (1462), the founder of Chifang flower arrangement was invited to arrange flowers for the military commander Sasaki Takashi. It is based on Confucian ethics and guided by Zen. This is the same as all other schools. According to Confucianism, the first line symbolizes, the second line is harmonious, and the third line is complete. Guliusong Yuezi Club is one of many branches of Guliusong. It was founded by the first generation Xihe, who was born in Jizhou family. At present, the head of Guliusong Yuezi Club is Kojima Xishang. His disciple Zheng Fang is the president of the Kanagawa Flower Association in Japan. Xiao Xilin, his disciple, was the only female disciple of Zhengfang who was qualified as a professor in Chinese mainland.
