MTP (Management Training Program) is a set of practical management training courses originated from the United States. It is a training course for managing environmental change, which was developed by the US Air Force during World War II. After the war, the US military occupied Japan and introduced Japan after 1950 to cultivate its management in Japan.
This course is encouraged and promoted by Japan Industrial Training Association, and the content of the textbook has been revised for management and operation. At present, it is the most popular training course for managers in the Japanese industry, training more than one million middle-level management cadres. MTP has made great contributions to the rapid recovery and growth of Japan's economy after the war.
Every content of MTP training is aimed at the most essential practical management skills, which saves a lot of unnecessary theories. Because enterprise managers should master "how to do it", not a bunch of theories that they don't know how to use. Therefore, MTP training is by no means a generalisation, but a way for students to quickly grasp the key points of actual combat, which is the design spirit of MTP.
MTP has been widely introduced and implemented in Japan, Taiwan Province Province and even around the world because of its practical achievements in comprehensively developing managers' management ability. The purpose of introducing MTP into the training department of Qiangsi Enterprise Management Consulting Co., Ltd. is to make the managers trained by MTP become professional managers and become the mainstay of enterprises in management practice.
MTP features:
The success of MTP stems from its profound foundation in management, psychology and behavior. The most prominent feature of MTP is that it has completed the training framework of "knowing" and "doing", paid attention to solving practical management problems, and made a clear commitment and guarantee to the training effect. Its training content not only closely follows the cutting-edge ideas of contemporary enterprise management, but also fully combines the outstanding characteristics of different countries and regions and even industries. In terms of training methods, it emphasizes on-site drills (70% are case analysis and role drills) and practical operation guidance after class. Before the training, MTP students will receive the pre-school assessment questionnaire, and after the training, they will fill in the MTP action plan and website tracking service. It has realized the extension of training from classroom to work practice.
