Xinxiang Technician College (Senior Technician School) was founded in 1957. Its predecessor was Xinxiang No.1, No.2 and No.3 Technical School. It is a national key technician college, which trains middle and senior technical talents and integrates vocational and technical education base, vocational skills training base, vocational skills appraisal base and vocational skills competition base. It is the first demonstration technician college in Henan Province.

The college has more than 20,000 students, including more than 6,000 senior engineers and backup technicians. There are more than 30 majors in CNC, electromechanical, mold, welding, automobile maintenance, fitter, electrician, applied electronics, lathe, construction, cooking, computerized accounting, marketing, computer application, e-commerce and chemical industry.
