Marriage refers to a civil legal act in which husband and wife establish a marriage relationship according to the conditions and procedures prescribed by law, and bear the rights, obligations and other responsibilities arising therefrom, which is legally called marriage establishment.

Marriage registration is a system for the state to supervise and manage the establishment of marriage relations. Marriage should not only meet the conditions prescribed by law, but also fulfill the statutory marriage registration procedures at the prescribed marriage registration office.
