Yilong News Network (Reporter Ma Yonghong) 101On October 28th, the 2020 mental health education for primary and secondary schools and the work training for class teachers undertaken by Yilong County Teacher Training School were held in Chengbei Primary School. More than 350 people participated in the training, including directors of the Political and Educational Affairs Department of public and private primary and secondary schools in the county, full-time and part-time teachers of mental health education, new class teachers, and members of the seminar for famous teachers of mental health education in primary and secondary schools in counties and districts.
It is reported that this training aims to further improve the overall level of mental health education in primary and secondary schools in our county. The training content includes common psychological problems and countermeasures of primary and secondary school students, school mental health education management, class management of class teachers, etc. The meeting also specially invited Gong Zuo, an associate professor of Sichuan Vocational and Technical College, to give a special lecture on psychological health education.
At the training meeting, Gong gave a detailed explanation on the progress, misunderstanding and breakthrough of mental health education in primary and secondary schools with cases, which not only provided theoretical support, but also put forward specific methods and strategies. Yao Zhihui, a full-time teacher of mental health education in Nanchong Senior High School, shared the experience of mental health education in this school. Ma Juan, the host of the workshop of famous teachers of mental health education in primary and secondary schools in the county, made a special exchange on "How to have a formal mental health class".
Teachers who participated in the training said that through this training, we realized the deficiency of the traditional mental health education concept, mastered the scientific mental health education concept of "big heart education", understood the true connotation of mental health class, understood the "five hearts" that a good mental health education class must have, realized that a mental health education class is a warm journey for teachers and students to grow up together, and pointed out the future development direction of school mental health education. We will apply what we have learned, constantly improve the quality of a mental health education teacher, protect children's personality and mental health, and promote their all-round development.
