According to the general requirements of the country for graduate education, in order to meet the needs of personnel training in the 2 1 century and realize a new round of leap-forward development of Chongqing University, combined with the graduate education innovation plan of the national education revitalization action plan of the Ministry of Education, the graduate school of Chongqing University established a platform for direct construction of graduate schools in May 2003, which highlighted the independent innovation and practical activities of graduate students. As the first batch of 1 1 national key funded projects of the "Graduate Education Innovation Plan" of the Ministry of Education, Chongqing University Graduate Innovation Practice Base has been funded by the Ministry of Education for seven consecutive years, and it is one of the units that have received the most funding from the Ministry of Education and the longest funding duration. Since its establishment, the Graduate Innovation Practice Base has been developing and innovating continuously, and a graduate innovation practice platform integrating open laboratory, innovative research, academic forum, visit and exchange, team training and innovative practice has been built earlier in China. In the practice of postgraduate innovation, it has achieved rich theoretical achievements and practical experience, and achieved remarkable results. It has been well received by relevant departments of the Ministry of Education and domestic counterparts, and has become a successful example of the pilot project of postgraduate education innovation of the Ministry of Education. In 2009, Chongqing 13 University established a graduate innovation practice base under the demonstration of Chongqing University's graduate innovation practice base construction.

First, to "student-oriented, innovation is the soul" concept to cultivate innovative talents

Postgraduate innovation practice base cultivates innovative talents according to the concept of "one thought, two ideas, three-party implementation and four principles". Namely: adhere to the educational thought of "teaching people to fish"; Follow the construction idea of expanding experiment into R&D practice and conventional laboratory into innovative practice base; It is implemented from three aspects: taking students as the starting point and destination of educational activities, doing everything possible to create an innovative platform for students and establish a sustainable development operation mechanism; The construction principle of "student-oriented, innovation as the soul", the working principle of "enlightening wisdom and practicing innovation", the development principle of "based on the whole school, facing the whole country and going to the world in 2009" and the management principle of "multi-integration" highlighting the independent management of graduate students are determined.

Second, a new mode of cultivating innovative talents of "paying equal attention to innovation and practice and sustainable development"

After eight years of exploration and practice, Chongqing University, relying on the core platform of graduate innovation practice base, has built a new mode of cultivating innovative talents with sustainable development. By building an open laboratory in the whole school, we can share resources and build an independent research and development platform for graduate students; Set up a "postgraduate science and technology innovation fund" to support students' independent research, integrate resource advantages and build an excellent postgraduate innovation team; Conduct postgraduate visits and exchanges, keep up with international academic trends, and enhance academic innovation ability; Build a high-level innovative team, promote interdisciplinary integration, and enhance the team consciousness, innovative spirit and practical ability of graduate students; * * * Build a joint training base in Industry-University-Research, set up a platform for school-enterprise cooperation, and enhance graduate students' scientific and technological practice ability and market adaptability; Establish a variety of incentive mechanisms to improve the enthusiasm of graduate students in academic research and encourage graduate students to innovate in scientific research; Establish brand academic activities, broaden the vision of scientific research and innovation, and create a strong academic atmosphere on campus.

The third is the management operation mechanism of "multi-integration, highlighting independent management"

The innovative practice base for graduate students has a unique and effective operation mechanism of "multi-integration and independent management", with the strong support of school policies, the overall construction of graduate schools, the outstanding independent management of graduate students, the active participation of colleges, the construction of university science parks and society, attracting a large number of outstanding graduate students to engage in management, scientific research and teaching assistance work in the innovative practice base. Combination of teaching, practice and "three aids"; Combining innovative practice, discipline construction and scientific research; The combination of personal training of graduate students, academic research of tutors and innovative practice activities has well coordinated the relationship between existing laboratories, scientific research platforms, student thesis work and scientific research of tutors, enabling graduate students to actively participate in innovative practice activities. Through the establishment of an effective "in-out" mechanism, a dynamic but relatively stable sustainable management team has been formed, and a set of distinctive organizational management system suitable for the cultivation of innovative talents for graduate students has been formed, that is, the comprehensive department is directly under the leadership of the graduate school, with innovation laboratories and innovation laboratories.

Fourth, establish an open innovation laboratory and build a platform for innovative research and scientific and technological practice.

The innovation practice base for graduate students pursues a fully open mechanism of "open concept, open time, open space and open resources", and adopts the mode of "three-way joint construction" by the state, schools and large enterprises at home and abroad, and has invested more than RMB10/0, and built an open laboratory for graduate students inside and outside the school, covering an area of more than 2,000 square meters. From June, 5438 to February, 2008, Chongqing University started the third phase of the "Project 2 1 1" innovative talents training and construction project, and the graduate innovation practice base built 12 graduate open innovation laboratories with new ideas, new systems, new mechanisms, powerful functions and capable teams throughout the school. Open laboratory employs professors in related fields and graduate students with solid professional skills as laboratory experts and technical support, and provides a platform for graduate students' independent innovation through five levels of training: course selection, research and experiment, research and development practice, independent research and development and independent innovation. There are 22 elective courses, 265,438+02 professional series experimental teaching, 65,438+070 research experimental scheme, more than 70 special trainings and laboratory guidance for experts. Since its establishment, the Joint Open Laboratory of ANSYS Company of Chongqing University has undertaken a total of 12 scientific research projects, including 8 school-enterprise cooperation projects. The project "Automobile Frontal Collision Design and Analysis Technology and Application" won the third prize of Chongqing Science and Technology Award, and published more than 50 academic papers, becoming one of the important automobile simulation experiment centers in Southwest China.

Five, the establishment of "graduate science and technology innovation fund", to encourage independent research and innovation of graduate students.

Chongqing University Graduate Science and Technology Innovation Fund is a research fund jointly established by the Ministry of Education, Chongqing University and Chongqing University Graduate School. With the goal of "improving academic atmosphere, cultivating scientific research ability, supporting exploration and innovation, promoting the transformation of achievements and promoting social development", we will build an innovation team and strengthen project process management driven by fund projects. Through one or two projects, we pay attention to the training of project application process and the feasibility management of research programs, and support a group of outstanding graduate innovation teams to carry out academic research every year.

The Postgraduate Science and Technology Innovation Fund has effectively promoted the optimal allocation of scientific and technological resources in the school and embodied the strategic knowledge of * * * *. Since its establishment in 2003, the Innovation Fund has covered hundreds of specialties in 26 colleges, and * * * has accepted 809 innovative projects and funded 343 innovative projects, including 292 general projects, 20 key projects and 19 excellent projects. Combined with the third phase of "2 1 1 project", the graduate innovation practice base has sponsored graduate students (including foreign students in China) to attend international academic conferences all the year round, focusing on supporting outstanding graduate students to broaden their academic horizons and understand academic trends by attending international and domestic academic conferences. In 2009, * * * sponsored nearly 50 postgraduate study and exchange projects, with a funding amount of nearly 500,000 yuan. These meetings involve 20 countries and regions, including the United States, South Korea, Brazil, Luxembourg and Turkey.

Seven, build a high-level innovation team and cultivate top-notch innovative talents.

Combined with the projects such as "Innovative Education Plan for Postgraduates", "Construction and Implementation of Training System for Postgraduates' High-level Innovative Teams" and "Project 2 1 1", the innovative practice base for postgraduates takes the principle of "integrated construction, supporting services, examination and encouragement" and uses the rich resources of postgraduates with different majors in the school to establish innovative teams with reasonable structure, interdisciplinary disciplines and complementary advantages. Comprehensively improve graduate students' innovative thinking, practical ability, team consciousness and comprehensive quality, cultivate a large number of high-level graduate students' innovative teams, and provide various support services and incentives for the academic research and scientific and technological innovation of innovative teams through opening laboratory construction, independently developing the management information system of graduate students' innovative teams, setting up the scientific and technological innovation fund and the Huang Shanglian Academician Youth Innovation Award. By 20 12, a total of 300 innovative teams have been selected and funded, including 89 graduate innovative teams registered in 2009. In order to ensure the innovation ability and development potential of graduate students and promote their enthusiasm for scientific research, Chongqing University has formulated the Notice on Printing and Distributing (No.379 [2008] of Daxue), which authorizes the graduate innovation practice base to be responsible for the acceptance of high-level academic papers. The Graduate Innovation Practice Base cooperated with the Graduate School to formulate the Provisional Implementation Rules (R&D [2008] No.36) and other related documents, and set up a network development team to develop a "high-level thesis application management system", which improved the work efficiency. By the end of June 2009, the school had awarded high-level papers 1 15, including 380 doctoral papers and 235 master's papers. In order to encourage and attract more graduate students and teams to participate in scientific research and innovation, and cultivate more high-quality innovative talents, Chongqing University established the "Huang Shanglian Academician Youth Innovation Award" at the end of 2006. Since its establishment, the award has accepted applications from more than 200 young teachers, graduate students and 60 graduate innovation teams. Postgraduate innovation practice base provides venues and equipment, planning and publicity, hosting and other related support services for academic exchange activities such as academic salons spontaneously organized by graduate innovation teams. At the same time, a series of academic activities, such as "Meeting Room for Famous Students", "Special Technical Series Training", "Theme Activities of Educational Innovation Plan", "National Competition", "Zero Distance for Enterprises" and "Project Symposium", are held every year around the topics that are urgently needed and generally concerned by excellent graduate students' innovation teams, and the China Graduate Magazine Chongqing Tonglian Station is built, and Chongqing Huike Cup Innovation Practice Competition and Chongqing Graduate Innovation Practice Essay Competition are held every year. Relying on the monthly report of innovation practice, the website of graduate innovation practice base, innovation team management information system, innovation fund management information system and other management and media platforms, we will focus on publicizing and reporting the relevant rules and regulations, research results and activity information of graduate talent training and construction. Among them, in 2009, brand academic activities and innovative research practice activities were held more than once 100, with nearly 8,000 students, nearly 300 professors, nearly 200 innovative news reports, and nearly 3 million yuan was invested in construction funds and various awards, creating a good innovation environment and a rich academic atmosphere.

—— The academic forum of "Famous Meeting Room" regularly invites famous experts and scholars at home and abroad to give academic reports for graduate innovation teams, discuss the latest academic research achievements and hot topics, and inspire innovative thinking. In the 2008-2009 academic year, * * * held 37 academic reports, with guests from the United States, the European Union, Britain, Italy, Austria, Palestine, China and Taiwan Province Province, and more than 6,000 innovative team members attended.

-Based on the Science and Technology Innovation Fund, the Graduate Innovation Center organizes academic exchange activities with funds such as "Project Initiation Seminar", "Youbo Project Symposium" and "Project Closing Report and Experience Exchange Symposium" to provide experience guidance and intellectual support for the graduate innovation team. In 2008-2009, * * * held 75 academic seminars on project establishment, 15 symposium on report and experience exchange, and 4 symposium on Youbo innovation team, with more than 8,000 participants.

—— The Open Laboratory for Postgraduates regularly conducts a series of special trainings for postgraduate innovation teams by inviting well-known professors from the school, and formulates supporting teaching materials.
