The school was established in 1959 and 1984 by merging the former Xichang Health School and the former Liangshan Health School (Zhaojue). It is a national key secondary vocational school and a demonstration secondary vocational school in Sichuan Province. Facing the needs of economic and social development in Liangshan Prefecture, the school has continuously deepened the reform of education and teaching, paid close attention to internal construction, and carried out a series of education and teaching management activities, which has promoted the all-round development of the school's work.
