Urgent notice of the general office of the Ministry of Health on strengthening the training of medical personnel
Health bureaus of all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government, and Health Bureau of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps:
As SARS is a new infectious disease, most medical staff still lack knowledge and preventive experience. Therefore, it is very important to strengthen the training of medical staff in various medical institutions at all levels, improve their understanding of SARS, and enable them to master clinical diagnosis, treatment, patient isolation and protective measures, so as to implement the principle of "early detection, early reporting, early isolation and early treatment", prevent cross-infection in hospitals, protect the health of medical staff and prevent hospitals from becoming a new epidemic. Strengthening the training of medical personnel has become one of the important measures to effectively control the epidemic.
The relevant matters concerning the further organization and development of medical personnel training are hereby notified as follows:
First, health administrative departments at all levels and hospitals should attach great importance to the training of medical personnel and immediately organize the training of all medical personnel. Through training, the majority of medical staff fully realize the importance and urgency of prevention and control work, and respond to the SARS epidemic with a calm, calm and stable attitude and a scientific attitude; Through training, medical staff will be familiar with the clinical symptoms, diagnostic criteria, differential diagnosis, treatment principles, disinfection, isolation, protective measures and technical requirements of SARS, so as to make technical preparations for the prevention and treatment of SARS.
Two, health administrative departments at all levels and hospitals should make overall plans when arranging medical personnel to participate in the diagnosis and treatment of SARS. Medical staff must undergo strict on-the-job training before entering fever clinic, isolation observation room and SARS ward, and be equipped with corresponding professional and technical backbones to ensure medical quality. Do not blindly and randomly arrange personnel to enter fever clinics, isolation observation rooms and areas of infectious atypical pneumonia.
Three, in the training work, we should give full play to the role of provincial teachers trained by our department, with the preparation of clinical work documents for the prevention and treatment of SARS and the training CD as teaching materials. Documents and training CDs can be reprinted or copied.
Four, health administrative departments at all levels should strengthen the organization and supervision, hospitals should take the training of medical personnel as an important part of the current prevention and treatment of SARS.
