Vocational skills improvement

The Notice of the General Office of the State Council on Printing and Distributing the Action Plan for Improving Vocational Skills (20 19—202 1) stipulates that eligible employees of enterprises shall participate in pre-job training, safety skills training, job transfer training or training for junior workers, intermediate workers, senior workers, technicians and senior technicians, and be given vocational training subsidies or skills upgrading subsidies according to regulations.

Vocational training subsidy

Employees who participate in the new apprenticeship training of enterprises will be given a vocational training subsidy of more than 4,000 yuan per person per year, which will be independently used for apprenticeship training by enterprises. Enterprises, farmers' professional cooperatives, poverty alleviation workshops and other production and business entities that absorb people with employment difficulties and zero-employment family members and turn to vocational training will be given vocational training subsidies for a certain period of time, with a maximum of six months.
