Lanzhou University of Finance and Economics, referred to as "Lanzhou University of Finance and Economics", is located in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, relying on Central University of Finance and Economics, university of international business and economics, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and China Academy of Social Sciences. This is a basic capacity-building project university located in the central and western regions of the country. The national model universities for deepening innovation and entrepreneurship education reform, the key training base of "English Intensive Course for Young and Middle-aged Cadres in the West" of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, and doctoral degree awarding units were selected into the national innovation and entrepreneurship training plan for college students, and they are members of the "Belt and Road" strategic alliance of universities, the Silk Road University Alliance, the first-class discipline construction alliance of finance and economics [2], the China University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Alliance and the China-Central and Eastern European University Federation.

The school started from the Administrative Cadre School of Gansu Provincial People's Government established on 1952; 1958, upgraded to Gansu Institute of Finance and Economics, led by Gansu Provincial People's Government, and implemented undergraduate education; 198 1 Lanzhou business college was established, and was led by the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Internal Trade of People's Republic of China (PRC) successively. 1998, the central and local governments established a management system, mainly in Gansu; 20 15 was renamed Lanzhou University of Finance and Economics.
