Do you want to know the growth story behind Xiao Huang cars that you don't know?
I met boss Dai when I was in college. At that time, we were all college students and had some small political ambitions. In senior three, we all chose to teach and study. Later, I was sent to Peking University Institute of Education by mistake, where I changed a lot.

In the first year of graduate school, I gradually felt that it might be more suitable for me in the enterprise. In the second year of graduate school, everyone is looking for a job. I only submitted a resume of LeTV Sports during the whole stage. After the whole job-hunting season, everyone had a job, but I didn't, so I remembered that Dai Wei and others were still starting a business, so I simply joined ofo.

Shortly after joining, after several brainstorming sessions, "ofo*** enjoys riding" was established. In the past few years, Xiaohuangche has developed rapidly and experienced several rounds of financing, but in my opinion, starting a business is a process of constantly discovering and solving problems. Every problem may be more difficult than before, but once you choose to start, there is no way out and you can only solve it one by one.

Xiao Huang's initial problem was to help people not lose their cars, repair their cars and find a bike that is easier to ride, and even help schools beautify the environment.

At first, we did well in Peking University. Later, when we extended ofo to 23 schools, we encountered the first big difficulty, that is, our orders did not increase significantly, but it was easy to find that many students really needed it, rode out of the school gate, and then might not come back, so bicycles were scattered everywhere.

On April 20 16, we made a decision to "close the school" and control all the cars in the school. After the school was closed, the effect was very obvious. In just 20 days, our order has increased by 10 times, and the first difficulty has passed. Later, the yellow car was put into use in Wuhan, Shanghai, Xi, Guangzhou and other cities.

In July of 20 16, we encountered the second difficulty, that is, the manpower model was insufficient. Then we made a radical decision-three HR found 200 people in 30 days, trained in Beijing, and then assigned them to 200 schools. Within two months, these 200 schools also exceeded their targets. However, difficulties always follow. After two months of smooth development, at the end of September, we encountered another modest difficulty-competitors, and we obviously felt the pressure of competition.

But competition is also a good thing. Competition can make both parties involved grow and progress rapidly. After a heated discussion, at the beginning of 10, we made two decisions: to enter the city from school and to go abroad. Why go abroad? Because the scene of riding a bike for 3 kilometers is the same all over the world. It is better to start now than to start half a year later. In the next few months, the overall development speed is relatively fast.

After a period of exploration, we have also improved our operating model. We adopt the grid management mode, and at the same time, we are constantly improving the product level.

Of course, in this process, we have also received doubts and malicious slander, but ofo has always insisted. As a company, we also want to know the positioning and evaluation of users. Not long ago, I initiated a topic in Pulse and got a warm response. I am also amazed at the enthusiasm of pulse users and the openness of business thinking.

I sincerely thank these users for their suggestions, and ofo will continue to improve itself and provide better services for everyone.

Now the company is developing very fast, with more than 100 employees per month, or even more, while our HR department has less than 30 employees. Therefore, ofo is now recruiting wise men, including products, operations, software technology, hardware research and development, overseas operations, and HR departments.
