Now employees are required to hold a certificate (IC card), that is, the "People's Republic of China (PRC) Special Operation Certificate" issued by the State Administration of Work Safety, and the excavator operation certificate is common throughout the country. The old excavator operation certificate is reviewed every 2 years, and the new excavator operation certificate is reviewed every 3 years 1 time.

The second kind of excavator certificate is the excavator qualification certificate, which is a skill certificate issued by the State Labor Bureau and a proof that workers have the necessary knowledge and skills to drive excavators.
