Brief introduction of China Republican International Committee
China International Council for the Promotion of Industrial Cooperatives (ICCIC) is one of the oldest international NGOs and cooperative NGOs in China. In order to support China people's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, win overseas aid and promote China's industrial cooperation movement, Soong Ching Ling and international friends initiated the establishment of China Republican International Committee (65438-0939) in Hongkong. 1952, due to the establishment of the national cooperative company, Republican International stopped its activities. 1987 has been restored in line with the national development strategy of reform and opening up, and registered as a national social organization in People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Ministry of Civil Affairs, mainly engaged in promoting the development of cooperatives, poverty alleviation, women's training and other social welfare undertakings.
