According to preliminary statistics, the output of edible fungi in our province reached 193026 tons last year, with an output value of nearly 720 million yuan, and exported 18000 tons, earning 90 million US dollars.
The production and distribution of edible fungi in our province are unbalanced. Rare edible fungi such as Pleurotus ostreatus, Coprinus comatus, Pleurotus ostreatus and Pleurotus nebrodensis are mainly planted in the suburbs of Hefei. There are more Agaricus bisporus in Huaibei and Fuyang, more Flammulina velutipes in Huainan, more Auricularia auricula and Ganoderma lucidum in Jinzhai and Huoshan, and more mushrooms in southern Anhui. Generally speaking, the edible fungi planted in our province are mainly Pleurotus ostreatus, Lentinus edodes, Flammulina velutipes and Agaricus bisporus. There are Pleurotus eryngii, Pleurotus eryngii, Pleurotus ostreatus, Pleurotus nebrodensis, Crab Mushroom and other rare edible fungi with good market benefits. These edible fungi have great market potential, and farmers should plant more. Secondly, the varieties cultivated out of season also have great potential, such as Flammulina velutipes and Pleurotus ostreatus in summer, Volvariella volvacea and Pleurotus eryngii in winter.
In 2005, there were two breakthroughs in edible fungi market. According to Ding Lunbao, general manager of Anhui Tiandu Ganoderma lucidum Products Company, first, the transaction volume has soared, and the transaction volume in Hefei Zhougudui market alone has reached 654.38+ 1 100 million Jin. Second, the price has reached a new high. For example, the price of Pleurotus ostreatus is 2.5 yuan/kg (wholesale price, the same below), Flammulina velutipes 1.4~3.5 yuan/kg, and Agaricus bisporus is 2.7~3.5 yuan/kg. He predicted that the price of edible fungi will continue to rise this year, but Pleurotus ostreatus will gradually be replaced by Pleurotus ostreatus, Pleurotus ostreatus and Pleurotus nebrodensis, mainly because the quality of Pleurotus ostreatus has declined, and the price may drop slightly. Some edible fungi with good taste and high nutritional value, such as Pleurotus eryngii, Pleurotus ostreatus, Pleurotus nebrodensis and Agrocybe aegerita, will be greatly welcomed by consumers, and their sales volume will definitely double that of 2005, especially the market share of Agaricus bisporus will greatly increase, and the cultivation of rare edible fungi will also have a good harvest.
