The specific examinations are conducted by 1 1 institutions authorized by APM Group, including APMG, EXIN, BCS-ISEB, CERT-IT, CSME, DANSK IT and Loyalist certification services. Most of the examinations in China are provided by EXIN and completed by VUE and Prometric examination systems.
ITIL V3 (Third Edition) certification is divided into four levels: basic (basic), intermediate (intermediate), expert (expert) and master (master). At present, there are few people who have obtained ITIL V3 certification in the world. ITIL V3 certification adopts modular evaluation method. Each qualification must complete the corresponding credits. To obtain basic certification, candidates need to obtain 2 credits. Intermediate certification corresponds to 9 modules, which belong to life cycle and ability respectively, and each module belonging to life cycle can get 3 credits. Each module belonging to the ability can get 4 credits. Candidates only need to get 15 credits to get intermediate certification. To achieve expert certification, candidates must get 22 credits, including 2 credits for basic certification and 65,438+05 credits for intermediate certification, and finally get 5 credits for management cross-life cycle examination corresponding to expert certification. Master's certification requires at least 5 years experience in IT service management, and it is still in the testing stage, and no formal examination has been provided to the outside world.
ITIL system will not be an organization and management system of ITIL certification. However, if the organization or management system actively meets the requirements within the ITIL framework, the organization and management unit can apply for ISO/IEC 20000 certification.
