Wu Liping's news interview
An artist who could have earned a lot of money by riding the show business with his own talent should go all out to save endangered local operas, run around, raise funds to run classes and train new artists; 49 teenagers came together because of their love for local operas, sweating like rain and practicing hard to inherit the art of duet. The reporter approached the "Wu Liping duet-to-star class" of Wulanchabu National Art School in Inner Mongolia, and took the short-sighted duet-to-star performance artist Wu Liping. He deeply felt that the duet, a local drama that worried many experts about its development fate, was full of vitality.

"I became famous by singing Wulanchabu. Wulanchabu raised me and the duet made me. " Wu Liping said with emotion.

Wu Liping, a national first-class actor, is known as "the first laughing star in Inner Mongolia". My ancestral home is Wutai, Shanxi. His ancestors traveled west with their burdens and finally settled in Inner Mongolia. Therefore, he has a broken love for the Errenzhuan art, which is popular at the junction of Shanxi, Mongolia, Shaanxi and Hebei Province. He put the art of Errenzhuan on the TV screen in the form of sketches, so that more audiences can know and understand Errenzhuan. Now, he has stepped into the film and got an electric shock. I'm going to do something about it

Wu Liping, 1 1 year-old, entered Wulanmu Banner, Liangcheng County, Wulanchabu City, and began to contact Errentai. In Wulan Muqi, Wu Liping studied vocal music, dance and various musical instruments, as well as various operas. This also laid a solid foundation for his future artistic career. At first, I always played some small roles, such as Tai Chun in Walking West, Ma in Playing Money, and Wang Cheng in Selling Bowls. Once, an actress who played Sumu (a colorful dance role) in the Lantern Festival fell ill. In desperation, the director of the play invited Wu Liping, who usually likes to imitate, to make a temporary rescue. No one expected that Wu Liping made the image in the play vivid and the performance effect was unprecedented. Slowly, Wu Liping began to get in touch with some other duet characters.

At the age of 0/7, Wu Liping/Kloc-performed "Divide the Grain" by Dong Lu Erzhuan in the rehearsal of modern drama in the whole region, which created a humorous image of an old farmer. His unique acting talent made the audience laugh and experts admired him. With his talent, he turned to many teachers for help. I went to Baotou to consult an old artist, Fan, to learn the performance, and inherited the difficult drama "Visiting the Patient".

"Dad never talks about his hard work, but I know that he practices secretly when others are not practicing, and he is already hanging his throat when others are sleeping." Wu Yanni, who performed with Wu Liping since she was a child, talked about her father and was very upset. She said that Wu Liping should also take time out to read books every day to "recharge" and exercise muscles every day to prepare for the next performance.

Wu Liping's artistic career is rich and colorful. In addition to performing duets, he also participated in the shooting of sketches and film and television dramas. From Wang Gonggong in the TV series "Wu Zetian" to Mi in "Secretary of the County Party Committee", Wu Liping conquered the audience with his simple and honest smile and excellent acting skills. 1992 won the first prize of excellent performance in the national sketch contest; In the same year, he won the "Screen Award" in the National Comedian Competition. 1994 held a special drama in Beijing. His works have participated in CCTV's Qu Yuan Miscellaneous Altar for many times, and his series of essays "Working in Wuli" have been well received. 200 1 participated in the creation and starred in the large-scale East Road duet modern drama "The Bachelor and the Foreign Girl", and won the "19th Plum Blossom Award" in one fell swoop.

The duet in Wu Liping is very vivid and deeply loved by the local people. He often goes to the countryside to perform. "We are very happy to see him perform. If he can perform for a day, he can tease us for a day. " An old man in Liangcheng County talks about Wu Liping, and there seems to be endless topics. He said that when Wu Liping arrived in the countryside, the village and the outside would be crowded with spectators, and some farmers would listen to Wu Liping's singing and perform with him.

Wu Liping, who became famous for his duet, has never forgotten his duet, although he has participated in many TV dramas. "Errentai is my life and my eternal concern. I want to do something for it. " Wu Liping said. In 2004, he began to set up the Wu Liping Errentai Art Star Class. Push local opera to the edge.

The duet, commonly known as "Things", is based on Meng's song and "Sitting on a String"? Folk operas developed by absorbing folk songs and dances of Hequ in Shanxi have spread in the central and western Inner Mongolia and parts of Shaanxi, Shanxi and Hebei, with a history of 100 years. Over the past 100 years, after several ups and downs, especially after the reform and opening up, the professional groups originally devoted to the creation and performance of Errenzhuan in Wulanchabu, Hohhot and other places have disintegrated one after another, with the loss of actors and the aging of scripts. The younger generation is influenced by the duet, and the audience is also losing, which makes this drama tend to fade out of people's lives.

In order to solve people's problems, Wu Liping thought of running a school. However, based on the grassroots nature of the duet, families with better economic conditions are absolutely unwilling to let their children learn such things that have no market in Xialiba. Only those children who are almost abandoned by life and have no chance to learn will cherish the opportunity to become talents and cherish and manage what they have learned as part of their lives. Based on this consideration, Wu Liping began to raise funds to help the poor run schools.

According to Wu Liping's idea, the first batch should train at least 24 children, and the normal courses should be cost-effective, at least more than 500,000. How can we find the money? The government has no money and can only rely on self-financing. Therefore, starting from 2004, Wu Liping will talk about the current situation of Errentai at every meeting, the significance of running a school with Errentai at every banquet, and lobby entrepreneurs who love the cause of Errentai. Many good things happen, because of his trust in Wu Liping, his love for the art of Errenzhuan and his worries about his future, many entrepreneurs have donated money; In addition, through various efforts, the project was incorporated into the Sunglow Project, which was supported by the government and funded in a solid manner. Enrollment began in April 2005, and the school entered the substantive operation stage. What should be the name of the junior college class? Wu Liping said: Let's call it a two-person star class! Training them today is to make them strive to become star actors of duet tomorrow, and to inherit and carry forward the art of duet!

Wu Liping not only has a career responsibility for the duet, but also has integrated his heart with the duet.

"The development status of Errentai is not optimistic. If it dies in the hands of our generation, it is really our sin. " Wu Liping told reporters meaningfully. He said that due to the limitations of history, region, culture, language, artistic expression and backward local economic development, people are ideologically biased against duet, and fewer and fewer people voluntarily engage in this art, making duet almost an "endangered" drama. Not only are there few successors, but there are also few existing actors. Some artists who studied the performing arts of duet in the past have changed careers because of the market impact, and the development prospect of duet is very bleak.

Let it die or carry forward? This is indeed an important topic before Wu Liping. In 2005, the duet of four provinces and regions was very popular with the audience. People seem to be enjoying all kinds of pure art, such as Beijing Opera and foreign music, and their appreciation of art tends to return. Everyone is eager for some primitive culture and art, and some green artistic ecology. Wu Liping thinks this is a good opportunity for the development of Errentai.

"I have been doing two people for the rest of my life. The duo created me. The duet is a part of my life. I didn't start a school for show. This is gratitude to the duo and gratitude to the people in their hometown. " Wu Liping said frankly. It is difficult for poor children to go to art school. I put wings on them

The news that "Wu Liping Errentai Art Star Class" started spread like wildfire, and people came to sign up in an endless stream. Most of them are children from poor families, and some of them have better family conditions, so they come here to sign up for study. This may cause problems for Wu Liping. At first, he only wanted to recruit 24 students, including tuition, accommodation and living expenses, and hundreds of students signed up at once.

The cross-dressing role is a major feature of Wu Liping's performance (data picture)

Because the purpose of establishing the star class of Errentai Art is to inherit the art of Errentai, the examination is based on the principle that Que Ning should not be inferior, and Wu Liping's family will carefully screen the candidates from the aspects of image, temperament, feeling, voice and performance. So as to choose the best from the best and ensure the good students in the star class. Wu Liping's daughter recalled that at that time, in order to see the future development of the examinee's height, she even asked the examinee's parents to measure it again. In order to expand the source of students, the whole family went to Hequ, another birthplace of Erren Zhuan, to personally select the examinee.

Wu Liping said that poor children can't afford to go to art school, and the cost is too high. He said that he could only donate so many children, and specially invited two teachers from Inner Mongolia Peking Opera Troupe to personally train these children in the basic skills of Chinese opera. He said he had done his best.

In the spring of 2005, Wang Huiping, 0/5 years old in Mazha Town, Zhungeer Banner, Yimeng, was at a loss. Compared with other children, she has good academic performance and a talent for music. Influenced by her parents who love to sing Manchu-Han banquet, she loved singing and dancing since she was a child. Her voice is well known. She can take part in competitions in places such as the league flag and win big prizes. However, the most unpleasant thing is that her family is poor. In order to give her a chance, my sister dropped out of school early. She is in the first grade, but her family can't afford the registration fee. Although her academic performance was good, she also "resolutely" dropped out of school to give her brother a chance. How many dreams does she have to go to art school and become an actress? But she can't even go to junior high school. What dreams can she have? When other children are spoiled as princesses around their parents, she sighs and tears all day while doing housework and working in the fields.

One day in April, 2005, Wang Huiping, who had been completely desperate at home, suddenly received the news from her former school teacher that there was a star class of duet in Wu Liping to recruit students, specializing in duet to recruit poor students. Tuition is free as long as the conditions are sufficient. Can have such a good thing? The whole family was very excited, and Wang Huiping made up his mind: I must be admitted!

Huiping, Rainbow, many children from poor families threatened by dropping out of school, even those from less poor families, like to sing folk songs and duet, which was ignited by the "Wu Liping duet to star class". However, choice means brutal competition. After fierce competition,1more than 30 eligible candidates finally selected 29 students.

But after leaving the examination room, many parents of candidates came to Wu Liping with their children: "My children like your business. We pay tuition, can you give training? " With so many successors keen on duet, Wu Liping was greatly encouraged. For the development of Errentai, he has no regrets, and the word "line" is loud and clear. In this way, the star class originally planned to recruit 24 people finally received the admission notice and became 49 people.

"Our family has more than 40 children at once!" Seeing these well-trained students, Wu Liping said excitedly. He told Wang Leyan to stand up straight, and told Gong Jie to pay attention to his expression. Although he was only with his children for a few short times after three months, he kept every child in mind. Teacher Wu is like a relative, no matter how tired he is, he can't stop.

Wu Liping walked into the children's dormitory, and the eight little sisters in the dormitory hugged him together. The children held Wu Liping's hand tightly.

"Teacher Wu is as close as dad." Zhang Jiao from Shaanxi said. The little sisters in the dormitory talk about Mr. Wu, as if they have endless stories. When these children first came to class, Wu Liping made a special trip to Hohhot to let them really feel the artistic atmosphere of Inner Mongolia Errentai Art Troupe. At that time, it was particularly cold in Hohhot. Careful Wu Liping was worried that the children would catch cold, so he went to the military supplies store and chose a small military coat for each child. The children put on big cotton-padded jackets as soon as they got off the bus, and their hearts were warm.

The children recalled that during the Mid-Autumn Festival, Mr. Wu bought them moon cakes, fruits and chocolates. This group of children who spent the Mid-Autumn Festival outside for the first time forgot to miss home.

Wu Liping said that relying on his own strength is limited, so he must mobilize social forces to support this "two-person art star class". He wants to solicit sponsorship everywhere, including clothes, shoes and so on. The children's sportswear caught the reporter's attention. Sportswear has a row of buttons at the cuffs and neckline. Wu Liping explained to reporters that it was specially made by a clothing company. Clothing should have the characteristics of singing professional clothes. In addition, when it is hot in summer, children can pull up their sleeves.

Wu Liping's opening remarks also inspired the children: "Providing you with such learning opportunities is not for you to play with the graduation certificate of the star class, but for you to provoke a burden to inherit and carry forward the duet art!" The "heavy responsibility" is on the shoulder, and the excitement is a bit more sacred.

However, after the formal class, I realized the hardships of the art road. Every morning, before dawn, the kung fu class begins. Leg press, cheating, catwalking ... all sweaty. Many students have sprained their ankles and broken capillaries. It is very difficult to go downstairs to eat, and bruises are more common. Don't talk about girls, even boys are in extreme pain, with tears in their eyes. Recalling the scene at that time, Yuan said: I really want to give myself an injection of anesthetic, so that it won't hurt.

It's really miserable to practice basic skills for four hours in the morning and evening except for normal culture and music classes every day. In the dormitory, the reporter saw that everyone had safflower oil and analgesic cream on their bedside, and asked them if they had ever thought of giving up their studies and taking other paths. Twenty children who heard the news said, "No!" Some children also said, "We are all afraid that our classmates will surpass us, and many of them practice secretly."

After half a year's hard work, the basic skills such as hand (gesture), eye (look), body (figure) and step (gait) of the children in the star class are still passable. However, for them, this is only the first stop on the art road. In the next four years, drama teachers will lay a good foundation for them in the first academic year, receive dance art training such as folk dance and ballet in the second academic year, and receive performing arts training such as film and television and drama in the third and fourth academic years. After four years of study, we will strive to train them into professionals with modern performing arts. Wu Liping called it "Wu Liping teaching model".

"We can't let ourselves relax. I'm sorry for Mr. Wu's painstaking efforts." A child named Jia Fei wrote down his learning experience. "No matter how hard and tired you are, you must persist. I will compete with the teacher to sing well in the future! " Student Lu said. The performance should be true, and people should be sincere.

"Life should be sincere and performance should be real!" Wu Liping often said this to his students. Wu Liping is the honorary president and visiting professor of Wulanchabu Art School. He often goes to school to guide students. In addition to giving guidance to students in details such as performance and singing, he pays more attention to the exchange of ideas on students' ideals, beliefs and artistic pursuits. Combining his own artistic experience, he inculcated students to be rigorous, hardworking and virtuous.

What the students in the star class of "Two-person Platform" said most was that Mr. Wu not only taught us knowledge, but also taught us a lot about being a man. A student named Cao wrote: Teacher Wu told us to know how to be frugal, care and cherish. He told us what kind of artists we should be. ......

The birth of life begins with a cell, one changes into two, two into four, accelerates growth, and finally becomes a fresh human who dares to "pry" the earth. Wu Liping planted the hope of rejuvenating the duet in the hearts of 49 teenagers, which is tantamount to the fission of artistic life cells. Although this is a long process that lasts for several years or even decades, it is no longer an idiotic dream to make the art of duet flourish again. With people, what else can't be done or done?

If you don't work hard, your career will not succeed; Without the sweat of thousands of people, art will not prosper. In the "endangered" period of Errentai, Wu Liping will try his best to save and develop this art, which will be appreciated and supported by many people of insight in society. This is the hope for the future development of Errentai. (Text/Zhang Lina, Wang Ying) Source: Xinhuanet
